This will be a huge drain on MA engineering resources, and in the longrun add nothing to gameplay in the existing system that we refer to as EU.

…or am I missing something?

I think we will see a lot of additions to the current EU as MA will be using us as guinea pigs for features to be implemented with the other planets. With talk of “media planets,” is it any surprise that they will be bringing streaming media into EU soon?

Pheonix: Will there every be live streaming movies and television ingame? By that a mean actually films, not ads

Marco_MindArk: It is a priority getting that into Entropia. I think it will come within 6-12 months.

As to whether we will get any new “gameplay” elements from this work, we will just have to wait and see.
