Hi all
I have been hunting for about 6 weeks now and have about 1500 in rifle skill, an A3 Justifier MkII (+ two lasers,a scope and an E-Amp15) and two rifles, a Fire Forge ARR 8000 and a Marber Bravo-Type Plasma Annihilator (either with dual lasers,a scope and 105 amp).
Well I like the Justifier, deals out death in a very efficient manner, but the rifles I cant get to grips with. Yes I use them at distance, 3 or 4 shots to ware down the prey, and finish off with the Justifier.
I cant really work out the difference efficiency wise betwen the rifles, the Annihilator hits harder and the Fire Forge more frequently.
So what other rifle (or carbine) would be best for me to use at the moment?
Is there something out there that can hit as hard as the Annihilator but do it 60 times a min (oh and wont burn like 20 ammo a shot)
I dont realy have much good advices about this, but my best advice if anything is to get rid of that e-amp 15 and get some other amp, like 104 or 105. Good luck
I had heard bad reportrs about the e-amps, but I dont get whats so bad about them, can you enlighten? THanks for the tip about the desert stalker and ml-35.

I dont mean to sound disrespectfull, but 1500 in rifle is hardly mid user skill level. Its not even past disciple graduation level. Plus i wouldnt recommend an ML series gun to someone with such low skills. You will leak ped big time!!
Stick with the mkII its a great gun and with the right amp will see you through to mid level skills. Keep one of the long range guns for tagging purposes. If you want somthing that can match the mkII for fire power but with a faster reload think about getting a pistol. It might have shorter range but something like a M2875 it has great damage per second, and decent decay. Im never without mine

E-amp15 has realy bad economy, and generaly lowers your overall economy for the whole weapon. It’s okay for PK but most likley drag down your average result during hunting.
Also consider ditching the scope and lasers on the MK II, at your skills its just adding decay. Once you get to 5K rifle, or so, it might be worth putting them back on.
I have not much to advise since the equipment you have with the exception of the extremely inefficient E-15 is more than adequite for your skill level. some would say the equipment you have is even a bit above your skill level.
If anything you might consider downgrading some on teh carbine side of things and get one of the carbines that burn 5 ammo per shot or so or less for a while.
Only do that though if you feel the amount of times you miss your shots is eating too big of a hole in your ammo fund.
Keep the bravo or the ARR8k and put the other one in storage for a while while you use one of them as a tagging gun.
The bravo has the best range so you can tag a mob from the farthest away wich would come in handy if you want to bring a mob closer to you and away from the large atrox its standing next to without having to worry about the trox wandering over right away.
You have probrably mastered the opalo by now, if you dont need a gun that does as much damage as the mk2 using an opalo and an a106 you can still get alot of damage for the same reload as the mk2 but at about half the cost
so that might be an option for when you need to conserve ped for a while.
the only draw back is you get less skills with the opalo.
The suggestion of getting a pistol is a good one, the one reccomended the m2875 is one of the best in its class.
Also consider ditching the scope and lasers on the MK II, at your skills its just adding decay. Once you get to 5K rifle, or so, it might be worth putting them back on.

Ironheart, can you elaborate on this a bit more for me please?
I’ve heard this before, and from my own “feel” testing, It seems that I hit more often (less misses) with a scope and two lasers than without.
Did something change from a year ago?
Thanks for your time.
PS.. I also notice that MindArk finally brought back the scope’s zoom readouts. And also that an Alekz used to have 10.2x (or so) zoom a year ago and now it only goes to 8x zoom.
Thanks for the replies guys, all taken into concideratiom, I guess I’ve got a lot of hunting to do for a while. I’ve changed over my e-amp for a 105 as reccomenede and I’ll stash away the rifles for a while.
One usefull advantage of the lasers is in team hunts you know your aiming at the same critter
