The land owning societies will also in a later stage be given the opportunity to sell house-building lots to any Project Entropia participant. The lots available for sale will vary in number and size depending in the size of the land owned by the society.

MArcus charge 0% hunting - 0% mining
for building on lot , to bad but MA never say they going to gift building.
but owner wil be abel to sell lot with building on it.
i this the “player cronstruction system” is not ready yet , so we can not put building on land .
also i guess even if that system was created , make 1 house cost at least 4 or 5k ped … i dont think MA will never gift anything like all player was thinking.
Seems like a strange way to go about it. I wish this LG thing would just go away forever…

Looks like its the 6 month reset of the Land and it might be tied in with VU 7.3. Looks like we’re going to see lots of dung gatherers in the future 
as it looks like the Land Management System is being implemented.
I also have a suspicion that the Land Grabs of the future will be slightly different, something Marco hinted in the interview I did with him:

Yes. But I estimate that the next round of Land Grabs will be somewhat different, based on community feedback and evaluation of the prior rounds.
So the first 4 have expired… 6 months is up.
I am waiting to see what, if anything, MA says about the last LG and its long-term results and how they are going to run the next one.
It is a pity that at least a couple of lots per area were not handed out though

I thought that societies were suppose to defend their land during the 6 month upkeep, not have to fight to get them again. Sorry you lost the land Faust. MA really dropped the ball on this one. If the LG starts next VU I better hurry up and get my last 100 rifle skill points Oh wait…I am the only member in my soc close to having enough to compete, nevermind.
I really hope that either owning the land was worth it or that everone that has land is compensated becasue the new features where not even implemented while they had land.
Again glad i didn’t have skills to do LG.
To play devils advocate, MA did tell everyone their land would be up for grabs every six months.

I do not think they ought to be compensated frankly. Although I admit that it is rather crappy for them The reasons why ppl fought for the land was for taxes and the future implications of owning such land. I have often wondered if those soc’s even gained back ped comparable to the ped spent skilling up and fighting for lg :rolleyes:
I do find it odd, however, that they must reclaim the land. I was also under the impression that the land would remain in their control until another soc aquired it in the next lg

Rule 4 of the Land Grab rules states:
After a six month period ownership is transferred back (Excluding any house building lots already sold. Meaning that an individual person is in possession of the house-building lot deed).
My presumption is that it starts again and you would have to claim the land back under rule 3:
