I’ve repaired my armour 5times today… never has this happened… MA needs to reimburse us. Anyone think they will?

After I noticed the decay on my armour, I just stopped wearing it. I can see how you could think it was an accident once. I can even think it might be possible that you accidently blamed it on a coincidence twice.
But 5 times? Man, I might yet have to start rethinking my opinion on evolution. Though this might just disprove Intelligent Design 
Seriously. If it’s that bad? Stop wearing armour for now.
Im not talking about reimbursing the full amount, just the amount OVER what it usually costs.
I really feel sorry for those with Angel and Shadow armour.
I have been speaking to some people with Angel armour… the “not quite yet” ubers… and they’re crying. I can see the value of these armours dropping drastically if MA dont fix this soon… and a lot of unhappy quitters…

True but what about those who just got an rascal? I know of diciples that just got one before the update cuz it was a good armor to stat out with…I’m not sure its a good armor anymore and they are gonna get a wake-up-call when they repair it.
I have also talked to people with Angel armor and I feel really bad for them. I’ve only hunted some longu last night and they are nice and slow mobs so they dont get to hit that much - so I havn’t been paying a lot in armor decay yet.
Actually, i feel sorry for everyone who have bought their armors for more then 100 PED/piece!
I went on a minimal troxhunt early today, 30 PED ammo, just to check the critical hits and the armor updates. 
I have full nemesis/angel thighs, and after 30 PED ammo, i had to repair it for 8 PED!? :eek:
8 PED is not much, but after 100 minimal troxhunt we are talking about;
ammoburn: 3000 PED
Maddox IV+dante decay: 1500 PED
Armor decay: 800 PED
Total: 5300 PED…
Ammoburn: 57%
Wep Decay: 28%
Armor: 15%
I doubt that the ordinary armor decay would be more then 300, max… :wise:

I was at work wen the VU went up read about it decaying like crazy and said to my work m8 Od that also plays. Just wait it’s probably a bug and they’ll fix it. and what do i see in the CL today…
If you see something different in a VU that is costling you huge stop using it.
Would you keepy typing on your computer if it gave you a little shock each time? Then sue them after you kept typing for 2hrs and got a HUGE shock that knocked you off your seet? No the judge would say why did you keep typing after the first shock?

Gonna be lots of VU noobs here this time with all the new starters … here’s a couple of tips for ya.
- Some stuff will be bugged.
- Dont spend too much on ANYTHING for first few days of a VU. Why? See 1. above.
- Dont think you’ll get away with using exploits … you wont.
- Its NEVER as bad as it looks on day one.
- Some people will whine regardless of what MA do, ignore them (or better still, mock them, its more fun
) - Adapt to survive, its the name of the game here … what used to work well, may be expensive as hell now, better learn new ways of doing things.
- PE is dynamic.

Well the new mini update will probably make this better for me but I did a little test pre and post VU. approx. 300 ped hunt pre VU in the blue area W of Hades Pre Vu my armor decay was 21.5 peds (full angel with 6b plates) Post Vu same hunt same place around 350 ped hunt my armor decay was roughly 27.9 peds. Not that big of a difference really. This is just a rough test but I don't think it will affect they way I play. With a mini update stating less decay now it will even be better. I think the new VU armor decay affects melee players more due to the amount of hits taken before the mob is killed. I mainly snipe :sniper: and try to kill whatever it is before it gets to me so I think thats what helps me keep armor decay down.
I will have to try a test in space to see if decay is more substantial even with the mini update. I do think that evade and its related skills will matter more on taking dmg and thus affecting your decay. I don't have any comment on the other armors in game since I only use my angel and occasionally viking(when I am feeling chilly :thumbup:)
I still think Angel and Shadow offer some of the better protections in game. So I don't think I will be selling mine even if the price hits rock bottom. If the decay gets to much to handle for me I will just hunt mini mobs naked :clap:
Ohhh yes and to answer the post question. I don’t think MA will refund any difference in decay from day one of the VU to after the miniupdate.
well, first i was mad about the armor decay, so i didnt use armor after first repair bill, and realized, unless i move to bigger mobs than trox providers, im not gonna bother wearing armor again, ive been killing them before they get to me, and if they do get to me, they MIGHT get 1 maybe 2 hits in.
and with the lower hits and possible crit mobs do, its soo much easier hunting with no armor, i might even try some longu tonight, i never really hunted them much, so it might be interesting.
all-in-all, that armor bug gave me the guts to try hunting with no armor, and it worked, and i liked it, cause even tho im useing a higher decay weapon, (ml-35), my repair bill has been cut in half compared to 7.6. all i need now is a adj v1, or a v2, forget which one has the .1 decay, but i plan on getting after christmas for a closer range gun.
oh, and im not an uber, im barely a mid level player with around 40k skills, so its easy to hunt with no armor if ya got right equipent and right mobs.
I just want to say, as an angel armour user the decay rate on angel has returned to what seems to be, normal for me.
Also, if MA are going to refund armour decay costs to everyone, will you give back the skills you all exploited from a bug?

it is good to hunt unarmoured, but the only problem is if your not using the right gear, you’ll end up paying in fap decay anyway. You can only really hunt unarmoured against mobs that either die before they get close, or die within a few seconds of closing to melee range.

I could take Longu Olds with my Mk2 for tagging and EP45 with A105… unarmoured… With an ML35, you should have no problems… even with Providers.
jsut im not an uber, nowhere even close, i have 113 hp, and dont know what the current hit rates are for them, but im gonna find out in about 30 min, lol, if i can find any besides south of cornith, i dont wanna get swarmed by trox, haveing 3 spawn on me south of ithica was bad enough, i could imagine 3 guards on me, it would last about 5 seconds, lol
