Okay i am quite new to the game.
I have an axe but im not too sure what it is 
Its a 3xsomething axe and it can take off in the range of: 6 damage - 26 damage
I am not too sure what to hunt as i find im not looting enough to cover my axe repair funds and im looting roughly 0.20 - 0.30 PEDS if not any so i barely leave a hunt with a PED.
I have no armor and i am wondering what i should be hunting to at least loot enough PED to cover my axe repairs.
any ideas?

First of all, welcome to PE and EF.
If i were u i would go get me some 1x0 axes to hunt more economic until u get enough skills to hunt bigger mobs.
Places good with easy mobs are for instance around Port Atlantis and Troy with daikibas, exosaurs and combibo.
Start there and don´t use the 3x0 axe for now.
Welcome. Good advice so far from StrongMinded, I agree completely. With the smaller mobs, armor is not really necessary. A FAP would be a better investment when you have the PED for one. If you really want armor, Pixie, Goblin, Kobold or Rascal are all good choices. Good luck. 
Problem is i currently can’t afford a 1x0 axe or anything for that fact.
I hunted daikibas young and looted basically nothing.
I will try combibo, does the young, mature and old have a difference on the loot you get.

Hello and Welcome on Calypso
Get you some Axe 1x0 they go usally for the trade terminal value +0.5 ped.
Start hunting Exaosaur and Combibo young near Port Atlantis. When you can afford, get you at least goblin or pixie armor set and a fap5.
To the Economic
The axe 1x0 does maximum 29 damage. It is the most economic wapon in Entropia and no matter what big cool über gun you will own some day, they have all a more bad economy Entropia is designed that way you not cover your repairs all time you hunting. Thats how high payouts in the hall of fame and the maintaince/profit from the company who run PE getting financed.
Hunting with an Axe 1x0 is a good way to reduce loses, also, and thats really important get you some teleporters with more places of easy mobs. The loot differs in the same area over time. You can hunt in a area where you get really cool loots and a hour later you could find almost no loots on the same spot. The areas where the Loots good and where bad shuffle randomly. If you see you have a lot of no Looters or bad Loots, brake your hunt and come back in a few hours. Hunt elsewhere that Time.
Generally bigger mobs with more hitpoints mean bigger chance to loot something cool and valuable. But it will also cost you more to kill this mobs and better loots are possible but not guaranted.
To get Started in PE i would Suggest you :
Sell your Axe 3x0
Buy you some Axes 1x0
Gather Sweat until you lose that Ability or even better
and recommed Deposit some monney to get started.
Buy a cheap Fap5 that have a low TT value and load as mutch peds (max 15 ped) as you like in it on the repair terminal. Get you a goblin or better a pixie armor set.
Long duration hunts give you a better chance to brake even as a short hunt.
Also think about the good and bad loot area time shuffle.
Start over with Meele to build up some Hitpoints, but dont become too mutch addicted with it like i do 
Orientate you on the Prices in Port Atlantis to sell your Loots. Never ever sell something on the Trade Terminal. Patience is a virtue , never buy something just because you want it quick bevore checking the marked price. Dont thrust anyone bevore checking the marked prices on external websites.

maybe i’m not understanding it completely but does your axe do maximum 26 damage then i dont think its a 3x0
to be clear what we are all talking about: there are 5 versions of axes, 1x0 to 5x0, with the 1x0 being the one with the least damage but its also the cheapest one to purchase & to repair

yes i have a 3x0 and i wasn’t saying thats the maximum damage i was trying to say thats roughly what it does. Sometimes i get 30+ i think.

Thanks everyone. My 3x0 is practically worthless as its so badly damaged and i cannot repair due to lack of funds. I will do some sweating and buy a 1x0 or a few 1x0. How much do they cost about?
A full TT 1x0 axe is 7 peds. and u can buy them for TT+ 0.5 - 1 in Port Atlantis usually.
your 3x0 Axe isnt worthless, I am not certain about the price but I think its at least TT+10 PED.

ahh thats cool its in the red damage wise so its TT value is about 0.75 or something.
so it should be worth 10.75 PED if i sold it to another player?
Thats alright. then I’ll get a 1x0 axe and i should have enough for a hunt + repairs.
check the prices on PE-monitor.com or an other price comparing site, and place the axe in auction for 3 days, you should gain this way maybe more than TT+10
