Last night I finally saw...

…the movie Rain Man. I figured it was about time I got around to seeing it, since I have that name on the Internet.

It was really good, I enjoyed it immensely. Anyone else seen it, and what did you think?

 JUST
Wow! Either you are reallllllllly young or you lived under a cave  For your benefit, I’ll say your younger than I am and give you a pat on the back at choosing a good name despite not having seen the film prior :girl:

I’m 19.

The movie came out when I was 2. =)

So because I’m a girl I have to enjoy chick flicks? I would much rather watch a comedy with a huge bar of chocolate and big glass of cherry cola :girl:

I think the point was it was a chick flick so you wouldn’t enjoy it so much

but although it’s a chick flick, knuckles still thinks you missed something :dunce:

chick flicks are shit.. they make me cringe
I’d rather sit down and watch some nice gory b-movie horror

rain man has tom cruise :kos:

Meh, honestly, I didn’t care for it all that much. I mean, it was decent, but I’ve seen it once (years ago) and that’s enough for me. Though I like a good chick flick every now and then (Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood was a HOOT!), I’m more partial to Sci-fi flicks. As Jena said, give me a big chocolate bar and cherry cola and I’ll be happy. Course, I’d be happier with a root beer though.

Uhhhhhhhmmmmmm, chocolate – root beer —

Huh? What? Uh, did I say that out loud? Damn.

Thankfully Nea and Ona were here to rescue me, I was beginning to feel REALLY, REALLY, REALLY old with all you youngsters around talking about a movie from MY generation. Of course that’s not to say Nea and Ona are old of course…it’s me that has ascended the great hill of life and is staring down into the abyss of old age.

I just realized I’m old enough to be the father of many of you…

Damn. I am old.

Does that mean the movie is about a guy from outer-space implanting evil alien spirits into our bodies, only to lead us into the removal of the sprits using a resistance measurer?

or was that a different tom cruise movie, I forget?

Have to disagree with you on that one, Rain Man was not and will never be a chick flick. It’s one of the best movies of all times.
Actualy think you will find it on just about any top list over the best rated movies of all times

I watched a documentary that included the rl person that movie was based on. He is a walking library…litteraly. He could quote word for word everything he read and he read ALOT. In fact,he hangs out in a library!

The movie was cool, but I think the real person is amazing.
