Land Management System & Treasure Island

By now most people have read the sneak preview of the upcoming land management system and so I would like to start getting peoples opinions of what should and should not be placed on the land.

Until we know more details please just suggest the mob type and maturity level and some brief reasons as to why you would like it on the island.

Once the VU arrives we can get into more detail and set about making Treasure Island a really great place to hunt

I Look forward to hearing from everyone,
Deathifier

You could have alot of skilling mobs there, that would draw many people to your domains. And atroxes, I love troxes  I want loads of them, but no aoa or stalkers :silly2:

Loads of cornundacaudas and atraxes they are so nice !

I’d say go with the big mobs. I think that will draw more people. I would like Warlock 07 so I can loot myself a foeripper

i already answered at EP but i thought i could do it here aswell…

i think there should be one easy half of the island with mobs that makes only a small damage through rascal and pixie for the less skilled players and a litle thougher half with large mobs. the easier half should have a quite a quick spawn so there will be mobs for everyone really (and not such as the crowded cornu beach) and the other half should be so you dont get more then one mob at you mostly.. otherwise it can be to tough.

good luck to you

Just like Dinivan, i just made an answer on EP but i’ll copy it there.

As you said, the main problem is that we don’t know exactly how the system will work. But, imho, the best would be to make some cycles in the mobs you put on the IT… For ex., for one month, put some hard mob for the uber to hunt and the next month, put lesser mobs for the newcomers, and so on… If possible, you could even make some kind of events and suddenly change the maturity or the type of mobs.
I think that a dynamic hunting ground will be much more fun than a place where we know exactly the type of mobs we’ll encouter. The only “drawback” is that it gives you a little more work to do to organize all that

Chirpys! Lots and lots of chirpys

A area with formidons WITHOUT merps and other shit would be really cool also

Just like has already been suggested.. I think one area with large/tough mobs for the more skilled players and another area with easier mobs for the skillers and n00bish players (not toop n00bish though… it is an active PvP zone after all)

yep, some mediocre mobs (atrax/cornucauda sound nice) for the lower skilled/equipped folks and some tougher for the big boys and girls.

but, just don’t make it stagnant.

mix it up frequently like for a week at a time. try different combinations of mobs, etc. i think this will make it more fun and nont the same old routine.

a lot of middle mob (cornunda, atrax, estophyl, snarg) and few big mob(formicacidia, formidon) is a good think for a lot of player.

Or only for good hunter : a lot of uber mob (second entity, warlock, araneatrox, neconu …)

Maybe kreltin and aurli if it’s possible — need to see speed in calypso

I agree!

formicacidia, formidon of all lvl’s is a must!

wishes a place with lotsa Atrax Guardians/Providers!

i doubt that the land mgmt system will allow populating land with robots. you can’t take DNA from a machine and “grow” them.
