Land Management System and Treasure Island - Usage of Zones

Hello,
I have drawn up a map showing the habitat zones on Treasure Island, of which there are 5:

Western Mainland Habitat
Hook Area Habitat
Northern Park Habitat
General Creature Habitat
Watery Shore Habitat

Each one will be described below, and you can refer to this map for reasonably accurate positions of the areas.

https://www.planetcalypsoforum.com/gallery/files/2/9/8/TIHabitatZones_119304_thumb.jpg[br]Click to enlarge[/br]

Western Mainland Habitat
L shaped zone covering the north and west sides of the primary teleporter it is intented to be the easiest hunting zone on the island.

Current Monsters: Bristlehog Young/Mature/Provider, Exarosaur Provider/Guardian

Suggested Monsters: Cornundacauda Young/Mature OR Argonaut Young OR Gradivore Young/Mature.

Hook Area Habitat
The home of Second Entities, their robotic minions and a very small number of Atrox.
Whilst the Entities are there only other mobs that entity hunters would like to chase will be added - so if you like hunting entities, tell me what else you’d like to chase at the same time

Current Monsters: Atrox Young/Mature, Drone 01/02/03, Warrior 02/03, Second Entity 02/03/04

Suggested Monsters: None.

Northern Park Habitat
Large area located on the NE section of the island it is currently being turned into an atrax young hunting area.
The spawn is still ramping up and existing monsters are being removed, some drones and troopers were also spotted in the area.

Current Monsters: Atrax Young, Drone 01/02, Trooper 01/02.

General Creature Habitat
This are covers the entire island and makes determining what to put there difficult - put anything large in and they will mess up the lower level grounds. Put small things in and it may annoy the high end hunters.

Suggested Monstors: Repesilex, Tantardion

Watery Shore Habitat
Split between 3 spots which are located in the NW, SW (right near TI city) and SE (on the mainland) sections of the land area this zone contains allophyl until equus are ready to replace them.

The monsters placed here will appear at all three zones, not just a specific one.

Current Monsters: Allophyl Young/Mature/Old/Provider

Intended Monsters: Equus Young/Mature

I was thinking for your General Creature Habitat
something big and slow so it can be nice to hunt but easily avoided so that you are not forced to hunt it while getting to the other area’s.

and the area set for skilling sounds perfect

Looking forward to Northen park habitat

Exterminate

The first step in land management is the removal of undesired monsters.
So I gave the Atrox who have hassled most players (and muck up future spawns) the choice between die, and die. I trust they will pick the right one

https://www.planetcalypsoforum.com/gallery/files/2/9/8/exterminatetrox_thumb.jpg[br]Click to enlarge[/br]

The second step is to collect raw materials, I have a purchasing thread in the trading forum for that

Note that Atrox still spawn in the “Hook” and “Northern Area” habitats, and that the extermination will be complete 5 days from now so until then they still roam around.

A skilling zone is always good.

I think it might be hard to get skillers to go to your island and pay tax to hunt bery, cornu, aso. There are plenty of places like that on eudoria. I would recommend a field full of gradivores instead. Easy mob that doesnt exist on eudoria, and that on top of that has some nice drops if you get lucky.

A good skilling zone would be great

I think that 2, 3 or 4 monsters in an area that big is waaay too little. Spending 90% of your time running around looking for the next mob is neither fun nor cost effective.

watery shore .. im wondering if all 3 spawns are all 6 slots,

or if 1 spawn is hte first two slots, 1 spawn is the next two slots, and the 3rd spawn is the last two slots …

maybe you have more than just 5 areas.

I liked someones idea that you put lots of argo young in one of the spawns.. argo young can be hunted by anyone with low-level stuff, plus they hof big, and loot furniture. everyone wants furniture. =)

yo

My wish:)

 1. “Skilling zone” :Cournacaudas young or Gradivores young.

 2. “Skilling Zone 2” = Abit thougher mobs then lvl1,Atrax young/Feffoids young ect,…

3.“Medium Zone” :Armax/Snargs/Estophyll/ect..

4." Semi Uber Zone" : Neucono young/Mature,Scaraboreas young/Mature,Itumatrox young/Mature..

 1. “Uber Zone” :Hispidus/Hogglos/Falxangius/Formicacidas..all higher maturity lvl..

this way we have 1 Zone for all players

And fill the general area with Tantardion young

Gravidore are an option too, and actually I prefer them over cornunda and similar simply because there’s only one other area to hunt them at the moment.
We’ll see, it may come down to what DNA I get first for that area, set it up and see how it goes.

It’s the number of different types of monsters, I will clarify that.
The actual number will of course be as dense as I can make it without making it too hard to actually hunt there.

Watery shore slots cover all areas apparently equally, right now the first two slots have allo and there are a lot of allo at each of those spots.

As for argo’s I am not sure if I can put mutants in, they are certainly an option though

Thanks for the suggestions, I’ll review them and add them as options

Bye,
Deathifier

Ok I’ve reviewed all the suggestsions both ingame and on the forums and refined the listing somewhat.

These are the habitat names, the order of preference for mobs and the general description of the areas intent.

General Area: Repesilex
Since the area covers the entire island only non-agressive monsters should spawn here. Repesilex fit that perfectly as they do not attack until provoked, have enough health to be relatively easy to hunt and do not spawn all that reliably elsewhere in the world at the moment.

Western Mainland: Cornundacauda Young/Mature, Argonaut Young, Gravidore Young/Mature
An area dedicated to skillers and low end hunters.

Watery Shore: Tantardion, Armax, Estophyl, Allophyl
It appears that, provided the tantillion can be kept at bay, people would like a LOT of tantardions roaming around. Beyond them there seems to be few suggestions for mid-level things people would like to hunt?

Northern Parkland: Anything reasonably rare & tough.
The widest variety of all, anything goes. Initially I might make some really high level atrox since the DNA is already there, however I need fertilizer first for that.

Hook Area: Equus
Treasure Island gets its own horse ranch!

So, what do you think of the revised plans?

 • Deathifier

Looks good. You have Trox DNA?

Information Updated!

After much discussion, scouting and thinking I have updated the map to be quite accurate and updated the intended/current uses to be more accurate.

Check the first post for the info.

Happy hunting,
Deathifier
