Land Grab round two 12 May 2005
The next round of Land Grabbing will be conducted on Friday the 20th of May, at 06.00 UTC. The rest of the unclaimed areas currently known will be released all at once. Also, a major change is that the claim time will be reduced a great deal – probably to 90 minutes (the exact time frame may change). There will not be any transfer of avatars prior to the start, meaning you can scout out areas beforehand.

I’m glad the system is changed from the way the first round was done.
I kinda like it. Sucky that it wasn’t like this form the start though.
Me and a lot of my soc mates spent thousands of peds each yesterday, and the previous rounds weren’t cheap either. And then we didn’t get the land management system and building of houses like they had said would come.
I can imagine a lot of the old land owners being upset over people being able to get land for only a fraction of the cost but with more benefits than we had last LG period.

Just think about all with renewed hope of getting a piece of land. Just think about that one will be able to scout the area before the lg starts…so…maybe the battles will start a bit early to ensure to be the king of the hill from the beginning?

This is going to be the craziest land grab ever! I can easily see a ownership switching hands a countless amount of times. I might acturally show up to this one, if nothing else, for the entertainment.

yea an alliance would actually make sense this time unlike last. I’ll be happy if one soc in R.O.M.E. (the alliance i’m in)gets a piece of land.
And as for the time thing i was thinking in a way it’s actually kind of fair. Because ppl in Europe can get up early and mabey get some pk’ing in before work. and well ppl like me can stay up late or wake up realy realy early and get some in.
This sounds excellent… the rest of the land opened up and less time means that the non-uber soc’s aren’t going to be competing so directly with the uber ones… the ubers will pick the land they want and stick to it, leaving the other plots available to more soc’s
Wonder how on earth I can arrange to cover this? :eek: I cant possibly be over all the Landarea’s during 90 minutes lol.
