Land Areas returned to MA - LG is coming!!

Land Grab is coming.

The following Land Areas now belong to Marcus the Estate Dude.

LA - 2 Warants
LA - 8 Desert Rangers
LA - 5 cK
LA - 7 Calpyso Conquerers

In 7 days the remaining Land Areas will return to Marcus the Estate Dude. LA - 16 still belongs to Marcus and hopefully MA will put this Land Area into play for next land grab. I hope that they maybe make LA - 16 like an event.

It will be intersting this year as there are many new players.

I welcome everyone to LA - 9 for the last 7 days. There is a uber hof of 3k peds waiting as our land has only ever had 1 hof of 1k peds. Shadow helmet and eon gloves are lootable. Plus I am about 30 peds in the red becasue of crap tax income and crap loot. Come on MA, show us some love and let someone get a hof so I can break even from fertiliser :stuck_out_tongue:

I am quite excited for LG. 2 socs have said they want our land. So it will be a cool 3 way battle. PVP is great. There is always some moron who takes it personally and freaks out in front of everyone :stuck_out_tongue:

Pardon my ignorance, but what exactly is a Land Grab?
What does it entail and is the outcome permanent?

nope, the outcome will last 1 year, thats why these land areas are hopefully free for a lndgrab contest again.

The winner of such a landgrab event will own the land for a year, enabling him to tax the loot and mining and “grow” mob on it.

there are also land areas that are permanent, but these mentioned can be achieved by fighting over them for certain amoutn of time

yes if it’s when all player is active (sunday for example) else no, a lg in the middle of the day when most of them work is not a very good thing

i think part1 will be the first batch of LG which expired and the part2 will be the rest, mabye LA-16 goes to Part 1 as well.

LG will be interesting. More new societies and a few socs switching Land Areas. Get ready for the 48 hour notice :stuck_out_tongue:

I really hope they disable the revive terminals at the Land Areas. We can just stand there and our marker is claimed. Its not pvp :stuck_out_tongue:

I agree with Driecc, it should be on a weekend so that many more people can participate. But I also think that there should be a skill requirement to cut down on spectators. I plan to do like last LG. Shoot the spectators to reduce lag. Its nothing worse then when you got 20 people all watching a claim while people fight and some &%$* hides amoung them to snipe.

and yeah.. 4-5k rifle/HG/LB would be cool req…

I dont care if its 45 min or 12h grabtime, the MAJOR problem is lagg and crappy server performace in all the last LG battles I been in. If they fix this first we can adapt to any rules set by MA. Since the rules apply to us all it doesnt matter what they are :smiley:

Just curious…has there been an announcement that the Land Grabs will continue? If not, Im guessing maybe half (or maybe all) the LG’S may be up on auction for perminant sale, and wait till they open up more of the continent to LG the new areas.
