It has almost been a year since I came back and the things I first didn’t have a problem with are catching up. I recall thinking quite a few of you were overreacting to minor things but now that I have played actively for a bit I am starting to understand you.
One of these things that gets annoying to me is the lack of communication. My parents are experts at going full ostrich while hoping the problem disappears and I have the feeling MA is operating in the same way.
Now I do appreciate the effort Socrates puts into replying here or on discord and I understand he is limited in what he can and can’t say but something needs to be done. I and I assume many among me feel completely ignored.
For instance UE5. If you decided not to communicate anything in the matter, why not communicate it? Let us know that you aren’t answering questions or concerns for the time being rather than just scroll past it.
The thread about changes to L and UL is still running despite the fact that you guys came to a conclusion regarding at least UL weapons. Why not “Thanks for the feedback for the time being we have decided X” and lock thread?
No communication regarding vendor restock despite countless mentions. It was hinted there would be but no update. Prices were apparently subject to change and Mayhem is running and we have no clue what we are grinding for (which is why you should sell your tokens to me super cheap).
In the last patch me and a few others pointed out that a feature was removed and labeled a bug despite it being acknowledged to work the intended way earlier this year most likely costing a bunch of players thousands of PED without even a “Bertha was drunk, this was never supposed to work”.
There are probably hundreds of instances of this (feel free to share yours) where at least I feel that MA could improve a lot with very little effort. Is there a reason for this?
We have forwarded the issue to members of the responsible team for further investigation, any irregularities found will be adjusted as soon as possible.

I do. I always communicate to my customers that the worst possible scenario is them walking home unhappy. I ask them to never feel bad for criticizing or having demands since a good business relation is built on fulfilling each other’s needs. I don’t have a restaurant though.
I’ll put it simply, they don’t give a flying fuck. None at all. And that’s the saddest part. Because somewhere in that mess there are a few people who actually care, a few who try their hardest every damn day, but they’re surrounded by a company that’s completely lost its integrity.
You can see it everywhere. Nobody gets rewarded for doing well. No one gets recognized for carrying the weight. The people who stick their necks out, who take risks, they get crushed instead of supported. The system is broken from the inside out, and the people at the top are either blind or just don’t care enough to fix it.
It’s a terrible environment. The kind that kills motivation and drains the soul. You can feel the frustration in everyone’s silence. It’s like everyone’s given up because what’s the point of trying when effort means nothing?
And the worst part is the pride. That’s their real downfall. They’re failing hard, but they’re too proud to admit it. They could change, they could grow, but they won’t, because that would mean admitting they messed up.
So they keep pretending. Keep acting like things are fine. Keep putting on a show while everything around them rots. The truth is, they’ve already failed. And instead of facing it, they just double down on the same nonsense that got them here.
It’s honestly tragic. A company with no heart left, no direction, and no clue how far they’ve fallen.
I hate those assholes. I was about to reveal incriminating details about my personal life but realized I shouldn’t on a public forum. Stay tuned on discord.
The most tragic part to me is that so many players have so much heart, put so much thought and effort into coming up with ideas and feedback to make this the best game possible, yet get nothing back if their concerns somehow land within a forbidden topic such as mentioned in the OP.
I hope that you now understand why players are behaving the way they do. I was really looking forward to your realisation and I am glad it came through, good luck in your future endeavours.
Another topic that crossed my mind today that falls into the same realm is botting. Are we allowed to or are we not? Resources for people who want to bot are added to the game such as the instances on NI, Cyrene and Arkadia along with bot friendly pills such as the augmented loot pill and frontier pill.
At the state of the game currently I couldn’t care less about botting as long as it doesn’t interfere directly with my own gameplay. When reports are made you reply that it will be investigated but to my knowledge no one has ever even gotten as much as a slap on the wrist. People talk openly about it and some players that do are so heavily invested that I can’t phantom they are doing it without getting it green lit by MA.
I can understand that it is a source of income but if it truly is allowed then let us know. That way I could install a keypresser and safely shoot Papoos for an additional 12 hours a day and reach my skill goals quicker. On top of that we could stop reporting and that would take a load off the support team.
Back in my early days before autocrafting was a thing the EULA was written in a way that prohibited the use of autoclickers but if support was asked on the matter you’d get a “No you can’t ;)”.
I wasn’t around for the Entropia Raider incident. Not sure what happened when those players were reported using those bots. Perhaps someone here in the forum could elaborate.
Technically not allowed, practically everyone does it, financially MA just keeps their mouth shut, or kept because it brought too much money in the game by whales, and tbh if they do actually remove it the game will probably collapse. Hope this helps.
