First ever kingfisher mobs have been created and are located on Amthera at approximate coordinates: (20060, 6480). Please come see them and bring your armor/faps - the youngs are only ones made so far and do 119.0 damage on no armor. Picture of kingfishers is posted on EP forum and will be posted here at a later date. Loots are remarkably good! We also have oculus youngs and great mining on our land. Happy hunting!

Are they fast or can you shot them with plasma and maybe run a bit and then shot again?
they have BIG HP, youngs do 79 dmg on boar+5bs and are fairly quick.
They do some stab dmg, still trying work out the amouts, quite fun to hunt

To put it into perspective a kingfisher mature (126) does more damage than:
Ambulimax provider (120)
Argonaut leader (121)
Atrox dominant (110)
Aurli Hunter (117)
Formicacida young (116)
Krelin alpha (110)
Molisk Warrior (101)
Neconu old - same damage
Scaboreas Guardian (116)
Thorifoid Devestator (105)
Trooper gen 4 (123)
Warrior gen 5 (114)
It appeares that it will be one of the highest damage mobs in PE with exception to a few like spiders, warriors and falax.
Meaning that virtually everyone wont even be able to hunt them.
2.5 - 6 ped loot sounds very low considering they will take a LOT of killing.

u dont need uber gear, I can take them with boar+5bs and adj fap
when we get the correct %'s of dmg Im hoping I can find a cheap armour/plates to hunt these economically. (I can do necu with rascal+plates so its not impossible)

True, adj faps are what I like to call the category of semi-uber equipment. The higher end stuff thats still pretty affordable compared to the highest end. Comparing adj to imp and mod that is, same with angel armour I consider it to be a semi-uber armour because its pretty affordable compared to shadow(twice the price for not twice the damage blocked )

Adj FAP is not “uber” but it is very economical.
I guess it is also possible to use EK2600 if you heal 42HP each time with it.
Meaning FA-interval > 6.00

yea I agree its semi-uber, the economy does not really help you while FAPing off these mobs, the little extra heal over 2600/110 does a little, not really too much tho.
