I just thought I would pass on some advise given to me by the wise and venurable Zed. Hold on to your sweats until the land grab on the 21st of Dec.
Apparantly this will push the price of sweat back up. Lets hope it gets up to a decent price.
How do you know that the lg will be on the 21st ???

They aren’t going to have an LG the same month they open up a major expansion to PE

:dunno: Yeah I read about the Space resort being opened on the 21st to. I dunno, maybe that is what Zed was refering to. If this is the case, how would the space resort push up the price of ME.
The Land Grab date is not yet set, and has not been announced. Also I wonder why LG would make the price of sweat go up ?

I’m assuming massive ME usage, but I think that people stockpile it enough so that it won’t change the market price much, if at all.

I don’t see a more “massive” use of ME during a land grab day then during any other normal day. Only useful MindForce tool during land grab would be TP and wormhole chip.

but it does make sense to save your sweat, right now market prices are really low
I think this may have something to do with another “rumor” going around which says that on the 21st, sweat will be getting a TT value (some say 2.0+), the sweat cap will be lowered, and that ME will have some additional uses on the station. A few of the people spreading it said they’d heard it directly from MA support.
I think it’s pretty questionable info, but it seems to be spreading around.
If by some off chance it’s true, I’d have to say I have a big problem with MA “slipping the info”. Wouldn’t that amount to “inside trading”?
In reality I think it’s just people trying to push sweat back up.
Giving sweat a TT value sounds very unlikely to me. That would mean that MA would start to give away stuff without anything decaying. That sounds very unlikely to me. High sweatprices for beginners do have their value thou, so they could either:

[li]Throttle the amount of sweat. Demand would go up, frustration for newcomers as well[/li][li]Give the ME skills more damage/pec, would piss off a lot of oldtimers[/li][li]Make more fancy skills (Talk to the dead, telekinesis, travelling without moving, special effects)(fun for tricksters, not everyone would do that, I would definately :-)[/li][/ul]

Huh ? - From my point of view, sweat is barely back down to a decent price… Would like to see sweat back down at 1pec/bottle

Supports response to my asking about about price of sweat is as follows:
“There is no value on vibrant sweat…” , “…as for later uses of sweat, that MAY be incorporated in the next VU, that will de disclosed later, but until then, the general uses and avalability of vibrant sweat will remain unchanged…”,
and then, there was a buch of junk talking about why vibrant sweat was introduced into the game, blah, blah, blah.
Long story short MA has no idea what you guys are talking about, sweat prices are not controled by MA, nor are there any new uses of sweat to be put in place on NeverDie’s space station. Who knows what will happen next VU, but that wont be for some time, seeing as how we just had one.
As for a Land Grab causing the prices to go up…
This isn’t the first Land Grab.
Stop with the propaganda people. Write support and find out yourselfs. Stop spreading rumors. :mad:
Oh and yeah. MA has been saying what about weather, time changes, and what else for how many VU’s still?
I believe it was in 2004 they said weather may be incorporated in the next VU.
How many VU’s since then and nothing.
Who knows what will happen next VU, but that wont be for some time, seeing as how we just had one.
MA tries to put out a new VU once a month. That is their plan anyway. 7.8 was deployed on November 23rd, so its not unreasonable for a new VU on or around the 21st. Most certainly, at the very least, a patch will be needed for the space station.
As for supports answer, of course they’re not going to disclose information like that. THat doesn’t mean it isn’t going to happen. MA may very well have a new purpose for sweat in the next VU, but until you see the actual update list, they’re not going to let the cat out of the bag.
Support is not known to outright lie to us, but I’m sure they will bend the truth and avoid answering direct questions as it pertains to future VUs. THese may be rumors now, but they might become fact in a few weeks. Or they may not. The taming VU was a big hit for some, and not for others. For the people that weren’t impressed, we’re ready for a new VU that has something to offer. These types of threads are brought about due to anticipation for a new VU and there is nothing wrong with discussing supposed rumors. They’ve become fact before.
yea all in all 21st sounds possible i have a bad feeling VU is going to be late though.
Land Grab will probably not be in until the Event System is up. Who knows though could have a MASSIVE VU. Club Neverdie and EVENT SYSTEM? Actually that sounds right cause CLUB NEVERDIE is supposed to have an areana so i guess it would have to come before or same time.
It would be nice if the price of sweat got up a bit cause my bro has a bunch of it that he bought for more then 1,5k ped 
so he really needs this

You forgot about the Firestorm chip, it can be used to attack. It will go through armor, so even though dmg maybe smaller but if you don’t have enough HP you are dead. :eureka:
If MA was to introduce a tt value on sweat they would have to foot the bill as it stands at the moment we pay the free money to the sweaters not MA, I like to keep hold of my sweat because I make my own ME, standing around for hours trading isnt my thing 
Sounds to me like someone is tryig to raise the sweat price back up, maybe those with more then one avatar so they can make a profit :eek:

Nobody uses firestorm at LG, it’s way to slow to charge.
