Just Wondering

Just Wondering (where you are from)

I have been playing PE for a few day now. Have been going through the posts. It seems like most people here are from Europe. I like people from everywhere and believe games like this are good for opening up world friendship. I live in the USA and wonder how many others live here too.

There are people from all around the globe  for exact data you could ask owner of some major pe-releated site

I’m very dissapointed… you left out a whole continent…(AFRICA!!! <-where I was born) and New Zealand (where I am now) …

This survey sucks… :wise: but I guess I answered your question

Correction - you left out a few continents

I didn’t put Antarctica or the Galapagos Islands either, but I figured what’s the point. :tongue2:

But really, I didn’t think people in Africa or the mid-east played games like this. I have been playing MMORPG’s for 3 years and have never met anyone from there. Perhaps I am uninformed about that player base.

Riga, Latvia, Europe

Denmark - Europe.

I know a few players from both middle east and from africa that plays PE, so think most of the globe is represented in PE

But maybe you made the mistake that people in Africa plays Shoot the monkey and run around in bushes all day ? Common mistake, but they do play PE as well from time to time

Middle eastern people do stuff besides from bombing each other in the names of different gods as well, some of those even play PE as well

But as I said, common mistake

You are the one who has made the mistake. I do not think such things about them. I know that all of Africa isn’t in the back woods. Just like everyone in the USA isn’t like the Beverly Hillbillys. There are some very high tech. places there and in the Mid-east. I had met people from Saudia Arabia and Zimbabwe at work. But I recon we never had brought up the topic of computer games. On the other hand, I have met people from Peru and know they do, as we did have a conversation about it. Your stereotypic view of how Americans view others around the world is mistaken.

Its an interesting discussion, you poll says where are you from, suggesting place of birth as opposed to where are you playing from:)

I did some research on continents after my gf told me the middle east was part of asia, this is what i found on wikipedia:)

“In the last century it has also become conventional to subdivide Eurasia into the regions of Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. America is often divided into the regions of North America, Central America, and South America. Continents are also sometimes subdivided into subcontinents that are isolated by geological features. The prototype of this is the Indian subcontinent”

btw I’m in europe and I’m from europe:)

Well talk about having a stereotypic view of which stereotypic view I have of how stereotypic you might be. Did I say anything what so ever about what you might or might not think of people outside the states ?

I made a joke about you not including 1/3 of the world, and you get all worked up. If I wanted to say something about you or Americans (Which I don’t since I have just about as many Americans as friends as you do) I could come up with stuff that would have been alot better than that.

Am I the only one from Asia? obviously not, I hope :silly2:
Yup Asia as in Sri Lanka
