Well, everything was fine until i saw the reply of sendaran. I mean, stuff like that (mob-dropping) happens lots of times, sometimes by accident, other times with a clear intention of annoying a person. Last time it happened to me was near troy, i was mining and a guy named barmy gardner something of the 8 decided to drag some atrax and drop them next to me, just because our resource veins crossed and he claimed “he was there first” although my vein was already about 12 claims long, and pretty much visible since i rarely drill or mine out stuff until i don’t have the vein finished. Anyway, just breed deep, relax and find a way to deal with it. Either remove armor and let yourself die to let him deal with the mobs he disturbed or kill them like Dr Udo would do… and you may even go back later on, and do the same to him ;). Either way, this is not too annoying, except if you’re a miner and have a claim near the spot where the guy dropped u the mobs. Now about gsm4all. As far as I know, he never scammed anyone, he does a lot of trade ingame, buying cheap and selling for a bit more, like all traders. He has a few well-known and respected suppliers that I won’t quote here of course. He did some begging in the past, but since he entered our society, he stopped with that. About that particular behaviour against Lady Wolf, if this is true, then what can i say, sometimes he smokes pot and shit happens. Or perhaps it was excess of cafein, not sure about that one. Or even teenager hormones. Anyway, he was kicked out of our soc. Looking back at this whole situation, now, this whole thing seemed kinda childish “oh, mama, look, i have a booboo”-like. Gsm4all chose to have a bad-boy behaviour. As a noob, what can he do? Certainly not pk others. Scamming? Nope. Mob-droping.. aah, why not?- he thought perhaps. Now why don’t we all complain when a certain player has an “evil” behaviour? Why not complain when someone is pk’d in pvps or in amethera, why not complain if someone claimed a resource first after a race-to-the-deposit, why not complain when you’re having a bad day, no loots drop and a guy appears and mob-drop on you? Now, does it sound ridiculous? (Scamming of course is a total different thing, and always condemnable). And if the guy says he’s gonna do it again? Good thing he even warned you, now you know how to behave when he’s around.. do it first to him for example. Now does it deserve a kick out of a society? How many would be kicked of other socs too? In my point of view, the only bad thing here is that although he did know about this post, he never replied (on time) or try to defend himself, and let the soc take the hit and bad rep, without regrets… that’s the only “crime” here in my point of view, and that is why i agreed with the expultion, because, as an adult as you are (or as I think you are, Lady Wolf) you should always be able to deal with that kind of harrasment. So many bad things exist in real life, so an in-game “crisis” seems meaningless.
Now about sendaran’s comments. I find particularly disturbing when i have to face some vague acusations like that one that try to drag in the mud a whole soc. It is pretty obvious that this person does not know us. TuSaLuSa is a soc that deserves the same respect as any other soc around. Most of us have far better stuff to do than dragging mobs around, except when trying to escape after finding out we just ran out of ammo, hehe. In that case, we run to a tower or into water. Anyway, generally, we are too busy teaching noobs/mining/hunting/trading and sometimes crafting to even bother to annoy anyone. Some people know me and I’m sure you won’t hear any complaints of them, as you won’t find any complaints against the vast majority of the TuSaLuSa members (cheers to Tom the buzz Christensen, by the way, who I saw in this thread).
About Clansman’s comment: thanks, but if it is the way u figured out to help us, then u can stop. About the so-called scam, we both know the person involved was not in our society by that time, and we only recently knew the problem. This is not the place to discuss it, but as it wasn’t an in-game deal, I would not call it a scam. It is, however, a serious matter, and a more complex situation than you think. Simply kicking out a person will not solve the problems, most of the time, as in this case.
