Has any of you ever had Hof/Uber on a remote spot (that no one goes to)?
I ask this because its quite obvious that globals/hof’s/ubers are directly related to number of avatars visiting a spot…
Ex: The Allo Beach (Limnadian), The Argo Peaks (Twin peaks), The Trox Plains (Ithaca)… these are just a few spots that are usually full and visited by lots of avatars every day. These spots give out numerous hof’s and globals and the eventual uber… Like 3 loot pools that fill -Global pool, Hof pool, Uber pool.
Since i started playing, i explored Calypso from top to bottom.. and my conclusion is that while on these explorations, the remote hunting grounds contain a large number of no loots, and very low value loots when they happen.. even with the most hunted creatures like molisk, cornunda, atrox, armax, drones, etc…
It’s fun to hunt on famous places, but sometimes its just ackward as its 4 dogs to 1 bone, and that usually leads to the “you stole my mob thing”, which sucks. There’s plenty of mobs in Calypso for everyone.
Cause if there is no point finding a cool “hidden spot” for hunting… PE looses a lot of its purpose.

Isn’t it possible that this is entiley explained the the law that if you roll more dice on a blue table than on a red table, that the blue table will contain more sixes?
I’ve recived many of my best loots while “off the beaten path”
But.. do people usually risk going to lonely spots, or just keep with the famous ones? At least, everytime i go to allo spot on limnadian, im guaranteed a few good loots. But i really like to find new places and to explore!
Whenever i stray from the usual famous spots, i can go miles without looting anything above 1 ped from 20-30 mobs.
Taking the discussion on Ped’s per Hour to play PE… im not sure going to unknown spots is a risk im willing to take anymore.
Therefore i asked you guys =)
Sometimes its other people experience that gives me motivation, and i always learn something.
There is a few things to it.
One of them is the fact that an area with much hunters, you can be the one ending up with shooting the no looters.
Secondly of course you have the lame killstealers and other generally annoying people.
And of course you have lag and spawn issues.
Going into a remote location means you have better control of the area and that you wont have as much problems with “other people taking the good loots under your nose”.
Also, mobs thats rarely hunted tend to give out nice supprises. Its fun looting nice items from critters people usually kill because they are annoyance rather than because they hunt them.
One thing I noticed about hunting in an area all yourself, is that you may not know the exact size of the area - and this can effect mob density if you stay for a while.
Why?
Well, in outback#8, the area furthest from the tp is in the NW corner. I often find that after outback#8 has been hunted casually by a few hunters, I will find only a handful of mobs on the approach path and around the shack. People will tell me: “the spawn rate is going down”…
I’ll go up to the NE corner, find a big collection of formidons bunched up and “release” them and let them respawn randomly across the land, giving the impression that the spawn rate is back up.
