Not really a suggestion but just a thought: If they should put certain requirements for some areas,
I think there should be one low level, one mid level and five as they are today.
Last one should be open to be grabbed anytime, and have the oil rig at it, and say 10% of oil value
dropped goes to the soc or who ever holds the area.

Oil rig is good idea. Actually I thought this same that MA could make some new incentivies same way like oil rig is working with the idea I got and that would make some interest to grab those areas aswell.

Some areas I had in mind:
Energy field
Gold mine
Blockchain datacenter
Oil field middle of ocean.
Farm / factory

In the end MA is who decide how much these kind of areas would produce “free” stuff and Imo it should not be much but these kind of things make a twist. Example speaking of gold mine. If it really drops free gold to players then the amount should be low.

I personally find this type of things would make game much more interesting and competitive way than this current system. Ubers probably love to grind with macro but we others maybe sometimes miss some kind of other action. Even there is new stuff builded everyone can still continue their old habits ingame as they wish.

These type of events bring societys and communitys together and together you have more fun. Maybe even your friends outside want to jump in action who ever knows.

Not familiar with how LG’s work exactly, so don’t burn me at the stake might be the most silly idea you’ve heard.

An incentive for societies to become more active in pvp, is to have a max amount of LG one soc can hold.

I like the idea that it’s an event for the clan. Suddenly the society would have more meaning. It would be hard to box this into difficulty like that - each society can have a spectrum of players. Plus, it could hinder some players in their development so that they stay in a lower category. That’s why I think the idea of special PVP equipment is good. Plus, it’s a plus for the economy. I would easily do it once a year, but I would really present it as a big event. Further balancing would be needed with regard to the strength vs. the number of players in the society (the equipment couldn’t be so strong that the society with the largest number of players simply wipes everyone out - now it’s the opposite: 1 OP wipes out hundreds of people at once because they don’t even have a chance to take away their HP. Or just select X players from each society.) Well, a lot of things can be fixed, but first you need to find a format in which it should develop.
I understand some who emphasize years of hard work, but let’s ask ourselves - do you want really good and balanced PVP or just sheep running to the slaughter? Do you want MU? If you take it in perspective, you will realize that everything is not possible at once. Do you want new players, but do you want to maintain the advantage of 20 years of playing in PVP? Maybe others should train so intensively that they overtake Chuck Norris, but remember - Only Chuck Norris can overtake himself.

if you think like a loser then you give up without trying.

In life, there are winners and losers. There are games where everything is at stake, but there are also games where the prizes are distributed according to the order in which they reach the finish line.

Exactly thats why you must always choose to despite being impossible.

This depends on MA - they should listen to the community and consider what is most beneficial (or more convenient) for them.

I thought about it again and actually in every RPG there was a fight for the best places. The strongest took the best. I changed my mind and I have to admit that it would be enough to do it all at once. If one society is strong enough and defends everything, it has every right to do so. In any case, the idea of some PVP tournament or arena where people could compare their strengths fairly (I mean the skill of the person, not the avatar) does not seem to me to be of any use.
Maybe it would unite both sides of people who like PVP
you need a deposit of 10 ped per person, 5 ped for the winner of the match and 5 ped in the bank for the best placed, so that it has the right RCE charge (it’s an example, a quick idea)It could definitely be solved with ammunition or a lootable ticket, which could also be crafted.

Good point, and a valid concern.
Although, both suggestions could work in tandem, having all LGs run simultaneously would could complement this idea, since it would force societies to prioritize which brackets they focus on instead of having one society dominate everything.
So really, both suggestions could work together – Tiered forts and simultaneous LGs, allowing varying societies from mid to top-tier to compete.

just reduce costs of play/shoot to 10% cost per shot and pvp becomes cheaper , vehicles dont cost 5-10 ped to kill , killing a high gear player wont cost 5ped-100ped (with medistims), no need for tiers, lack the UL gear? buy L, or make societies with 100s in them to attack, i was lvl 50 2 years ago, i skilled so i could use the marber BGH and so have others, hell some of AO i see them on skill mobs everyday so they can become better, now i purchased a c120 in hopes to reach t10 and make it a pvp weapon, this “fairness” is basically a slap to the face to not just HC but also AO and any people who have been skilling and buying top Gear for PVP. and i do think PVP revamps and suggestions, are nice but most of the people who pvp on both sides can agree when you shoot your weapons and kill someone its not cheap, i read forums and see people wanting to hurt pvpers by draining their pedcard by making them waste on vehicles. thats not really pvp. there is no sportsmanship wanting to make the competition broke in game and IRL. and MA i do believe can make PVP fun for all if the $ cost isnt draining everyone, at the end of the day people wont shoot a vehicle because it costs too much. ill shoot them and waste ped . but most who are new to the pvp scene will think about it and say my budget is 100 ped and shooting this vehicle costs 5 ped to kill. or this low lvl player with a big fap and armor will cost 5 ped , its not hard math, most wont partake in this even it there was low level tiers for LG.

I hear you.. costs can be an issue to but I think it’s a separate issue. I’m in favor of reducing costs but I think the core issue is the power gap (HP, professions, gear, metas). Adjusting costs wouldn’t create an entry point for mid-tier socs to participate, they would just get wiped out at a cheaper price.

Tiers don’t eliminate progression, they create brackets that give players a path of advancement. At least one or more fort would remain uncapped so top tier players can still go all-out.

The simultaneous LG recommendation would prevent steamrolling (and alts). This spreads out the competition making it fairer for all as opposed to a power grab monopolistic environment.

sure create brackets, low tier brackets have puny mobs, mid tier atrox ,top tier LG area have unique mobs that cant be found elsewhere with good MU, that way everyone happy, and ubers, have incentive . and low level players, can own a piece of something and move up the next level in LG, but does making top LA areas for low level players, sound fair?

Cost is issue when the reward sucks

Cost isn’t an issue the reward is the issue.

Who wants to fight for pecs if cost goes down ? Better to just sweat at that point

and now realize what kind of war you are waging. (just RCE)

It’s nice to watch people’s reactions, (they always have globals, etc., etc.) no one sees the costs - do you want someone who hunts for 1 pede and 10 pede to have the same global? Do you want the same rewards for less effort? That’s unacceptable to me too!
It’s not good to do LG - don’t do it.
Invent a fair game or make it beneficial for the entire spectrum - then it will be fine with me!
The system is not good, that’s all I can say for sure - but just splashing and not even thinking about the regime is mindless to me - anyone can splash. The hardest thing about any change is realizing the consequences.
Everyone will defend what is convenient for them - try to see it from all perspectives - maybe we will work out a solution. When I disagree with something, I try to explain why. Even if I am in a situation where I would not like the change.
Let’s be honest - RCE is the fact that keeps this game afloat, otherwise it wouldn’t exist long ago. All the best game systems have already been invented - or most of them - these days it’s hard to come up with something revolutionary - EU has a huge RCE advantage where it has no competition and it’s a shame they’re resting on their laurels.
I’ve written a lot again, including things that don’t belong here, but everything is related to everything.
