But the devil is in the details .Given that the core player base of MMORPGs consists of geeks who always notice lore details, a laser rifle ejecting a bullet and casing looks cringeworthy.Even assuming it’s a BLP rifle, the flange on the cartridge case/bullet looks cringeworthy too.
EU doesn’t attract the same crowd as other games. Especially with the recruit a colonist addition and new ads it is super clear the new target audience is people who want to get rich quick. Same people will ask chatgpt to write a book and publish on Amazon with prompts and everything. I wouldn’t say the target audience pays attention to detail not quality.

For someone with experience with RL guns, personally it doesn’t bother me at all lol. The fact they are putting effort into marketing the game with more story is cool imo. I think they are taking positive steps to draw players in. I get being a critic but like many others stated here this is the least of most players concerns. I’m just happy they are pushing content/ stories to get those curious about the game to play. It doesn’t have to be perfect as long as they are putting in the effort.
I vote they make a compilation video of all the ATHs and huge hofs etc. Write the $ usd amount plus the word “profit” next to it in bright bubble letter/numbers and sink every advertising dollar they can spare including all the money they stole from me thru the mining change into pumping it out far and wide thruout the world. We would see a boom in activity that would make covid activity seem like a joke and servers would be crashing left and right in beginning.
