Hunting : the future of things

Hunting : the future of things

Oki with ALL previous VU’s you could hunt a decent amount say for 20k ammo or more and expect at least close to break even, if you were lucky with hof/global then sometimes even profit

Now, startiling trends are emerging…

  1. Snable drops uber weap

result. everyone goes mad and spends k’s of PED hunting them

= a few more Uber weap’s in market to balance things a little
Also = MA get rich quick!

  1. Trox start dropping
    ML45
& Jaguar armor harness(also uber decay = MA rich!)

So everyone goes out on mass hunting Trox to extinction!

is this the face of things too come?

A new kinda loot… ‘Mob pool loot’

Where 1 Mob starts to drop a particualar item and only stops when X amount have been introduced to the player base?

Im a little worried by this at first…any thoughts guys? :wise:

intresting ideas.. all i can say is speculation - but it does seem to fit

Troxie have been dropping ML-45 now and then before. That isnt news

But that they suddenly drop Jaguar is only good. Finally you can hunt trox with hopes of looting a useable item, not just TT-food or amps.

And if MA only profits from decay it doesnt matter really what people hunt as long as people DO hunt and decay their equipment.
Offcourse good loots are a very good reason to hunt, and when good stuff drop people who usually dont hunt might go hunting and therefore decay their stuff..

And I kinda doubt that those snivvles dropped as many i2870 that there has been rumours about. If anyone has seen about 20 screenies of snivvleloot with i2870 please send me the links

I can confirm 8 im2870 and have heard about another 6 or so that are pretty trustworthy

all im saying is it seems to be ‘bulk’ drops of items and NOTHING else

All other hofs/global seem to be peds, except for these new ingame items or some uber gear

lol

not even MA confirms drops…

i cant believe any hunter looting imp weapon without a screen…

well when it is trustworthy friend and they have it in thier hand

and one of them was traded to me…

but hey each to their own :tongue2:

Mobs have ALWAYS gone through phases of dropping things…since the beginning.

There is not corrolation between the Jag dropping from a Trox and the anomoly of the Snable drops.

I think you are searching just a bit here.

:evilking:

What some ppl lose in hunting madly mobs in hope of item, others will gain.

I doubt MA profits more because of that. But of course no conspiracy theory sounds nice unless its all for MA making more money.

Those who hunted snables normally after those im2870 probably got nice profits from ppl who shooted nutly with big weapons… at least I did.

Pesonally I do not feel that small mobs such as snables dropping uber items is all that bad…

So what if ppl go out and waste a lot of ammo and decay on them in hopes of getting something good? They are gaining skills right? And skills help them right? And let’s face it, you can’t really “waste” that much ammo and decay on snables anyway… they are just far too easy of a mob. You can hunt them for hours and hours straight and use up as much ammo as you would hunting trox for 30 minutes…

Also, as far as them dropping uber items… why shouldn’t ppl that are dedicated to skilling in game on smaller mobs, or newbs, have the SLIGHTEST opportunity to get something decent? Obviously, we all agree that there ought to be a correlation between the items and the mob… that is, big mobs ought to drop more high end things, of course  But think of all the snables that are massacred every day compared to spiders… if one-one/thousandth of a fraction of snables drops an uber item, then cool! Some new player is going to be pretty happy and stick around in game longer :girl:
Does this make sense to any1?

yes svet, you are right… give the newbies a chance to get a good item to maybe stick around longer, then hunt the bigger ones and get something good as well. kinda work their way up in mobs
