How to withdraw money?

I’m new to the game, but I’ve been lucky enough to have made a little profit. So I’d like to withdraw some of my ill-gotten gains. How do I do that?

you will need a credit card to add into the system, then press the ‘D’ button on your HUD, click withdraw, and you’re away.

itll take months to get your money, so unless you have at least several hundred usd coming to you, dont bother. just use it to play.. cuz your ped would run out soon enough =D

Huh? Is that something new ?

All you need is a bank account, then press D in the HUD and enter your account details. Atleast that’s how it used to be, and i havent read about any changes to it.

and don´t forget: there is a fee of 100 PED for withdrawing…

WTF 100 PED for withdrawing?!?!? And 90 business days to wait? What a con! They don’t mention that in the promotional vid! 100 PED is like £7 in real money (3 beers). How can it possibly cost that to transfer some money? I don’t have much more than 100 ped to withdraw. So have I just blundered into some confidence trick perpetrated by MA? Because that’s what it feels like right now.

Ask your bank what an international wire transfer costs
Good chance it costs more than £7

Well,… of course they don’t mention those details …

What is more attractive:

(1) Some good looking lady before some screen where there’s a bar transfering money from RL to the game kinda like instantly and then back again in the blink of an eye.

or:

(2) Some paper you would get where it only states the facts, like “Ok, there’s a 100 ped minimum fee for every transaction and yeah, well it could take a few months until you get your money - but hey, it is possible to withdraw, you just have to be patient, we’re a small company after all.”

Welcome to the wonderful world of marketing.

My bank transfers money between accounts for free. I’m sorry but I feel conned.

Anyway it’s not a money transfer. PE is not a bank account. It’s me asking them to PAY money into my bank account according to the rules of the game that they stated before I deposited money. All they would have to do is pay up and adjust my account info accordingly. I assumed there would be a small charge for this, there always is. But 100 PED is going a bit over the top. :banghead:

Oh and I’ve just checked the EULA. There’s NOTHING about a 100 PED fee mentionned.

Well im sorry to say that if things where that easy , making virtual money into real life money and just came in here to do that; expecting to make withdrawal after withdrawal each week like an job the company and PE would go bankrupt.

An I take it your very new to PE? Lol even vets don’t have that unless maybe they own an land grab area. But so far most if not all Land owners use most of that money to reinvest into PE and the community.

PE is an investment long term, a lot of new players think they can come on and make XYZ cash and then leave.. That is disappointing to me :frowning:

PS: I did give you + Rep because your knew to here and PE, and I can imagine the neg rep you might be getting

I had no intention of making money and leaving. I simply got a very nice bit of luck mining. All I want to do is withdraw what I originally put in, and play with the rest.

90 days is a long time

Hi

New to the game and this is my first post on this board.

I agree that a fee is to be expected for transfers (especially international ones), but 90 days is ridiculous.

I trade stock and shares and I can get a rebate to my account at worst within 3 - 5 days. (that’s bank to bank and internationally)

If I transfer money from my credit card I can have money rebated to me instantly. Tha’s the same for many online bookmakers/casinos etc.

90 days only benefis Mind Ark

a) they can get 90 days additonal bak interest on their accounts
b) it gives them time protection, so they can budget for these payouts and therefore reduce nasty surprises.
c) It’s puts people off withdrawing and they are more likely to spend the money in game.

It’s very clever on their part and all part of their business model

cheers

…

d) they prevent someone from depositing 10,000 dollar, then withdraw it, and then make a creditcard chargeback of their initial deposit

I agree it’s disappointing, but for a new person, in view of MA’s sales pitch, being able to easily withdraw is exactly what one would expect. I think it’s a bit misleading myself.

Thankyou, GP. That’s exactly what I’m getting at. You get some rep points from me

Theres alot about this game thats misleading…get used to it…MA isnt gonna admit it in public…because it would hurt their bottom line. MA is here to make money…they have you here to help them do that. There are a few who will withdraw some profit…but most will pay …pay…pay.

And me ? (j/k)

If you want to cash out and withdraw, it’s better for you to withdraw a big ammount of ped, like >1k ped, coz of the tax (not really 100ped, the % (fee) will be decided when you’ll initiate the withdrawal process) http://www.project-entropia.com/Content.ajp?id=1303

People withdrawl money from PE

I heard someone say… there are some people… that will cash you out immediatly using pay pal… if you give them a discount on the ped purchased.

:dunno:

But I also heard that that was not allowed by the EULA, or something like that…
