In the recipe to unlock the Tier it requires one of the item that it being unlocked. When I tried to put the item in the window, i get this message.
You cannot use the item you’re trying to upgrade as an ingredient. Please use another item of the same type.
Does this mean that I need two of the item to upgrade the one.
I noticed the same.
If this is true, how are unique items upgraded? Or very expensive (in terms of markup) items upgraded? :scratch2:

I was kinda looking forward to upgrade my UL Mamba whip, but how am I going to get a second to upgrade? I spend a lot of time to track this one down and actually buy it… wait there is even a chance I might lose it (succes rate)?

So, I wonder how many volunteers I can find with a spare Mod Merc. I have a 50% success rate and a 95% salvage rate. If your MM gets destroyed in the process, sorry I can’t afford to replace it. 
Yeah apparently, if this is correct I damn well hope they remove that as it is really totally stupid and waaaaay to expensive to be used for the majority of the population and the majority of items :rolleyes:
i thin k the item being unlocked may act like a blueprint.. so try placing that in the blueprint slot.

i think you just need more enhancers not more of the item.
It has the item’s name and 0/1 in the ingredient list

i hope thats a bug, otherwise the whole system is complete useless…
this has got to be wrong. whos going to lend me a Adj97 in the first place to perform an upgrade, and theres also a risk of losing it :eek: how about a supremacy armour, Imp fap etc, etc. and at least you know people who have them, where am i going to get another Odin from?
i was sooo looking forward to this upgrade thing too. MA, FPC, sort it, this cant be right?
