how to take a screenshot?

ok, i got me a HOF ( number 6 on the list.. 891 peds from a faucervix, all cash.. ) but i don’t know how to take a screenshot, so i have no picture of the loot, or of the message..

i asked a player nearby how to take a screenshot and they said it was CTRL and PRTSCR key.. tried that, didn’t work.. also tries SHIFT and PRTSCR as well as PRTSCR on it’s own..

first, is this the right key? and if it is, where does it put the picture? i looked in all the places i could think of… my documents folder, the mindark folders, etc…

second, if i get an answer quickly enough thet my HOF is still on the list, can i use that for my pic, or does it have to be the message and loot from when it happens?

third, in case i don’t get an answer quick enough, could someone here be a pal and grab a screenshot of the HOF list with me on it so i’d at least have a keepsake of the day.. thnks.. :smiley:

There are programs out there but an easy way is to hit PrtScn. You then have to open MSPaint or some other editing program and hit Paste or Cntl+V.

I like FRAPS out of all the Screen shot tools. :smiley:

we ought to ask MA to add a screenshot facility.. i mean how hard would it be to implement?
save as a jpg in a folder called screens named scr00001, scr00002 etc..

make that scr0000000000000001 as i know of people that take LOADS and even more LOADS of screenies

[B]Grab Clip Save[/B] is easy and small screen capture program.
