How do you start a new society? I am thinking of starting a new one and arming the members myself. New members would pay for weapons by putting part of their loot into common pool for ammo etc. Is this workable?

Go to the society terminal and it has the option to create one. But you must have at least 5 active mebers for it to be approved. During the first seven days it is under a pending aproval status. After it is aproved there is no limit on how many members you have. Does sound like a good plan, good luck with it.
