Ok a - headline grabbing comment I admit - but I am curious as to peoples response to how much some things are going for in PE and how much money you need to pump into this “game” (to me it is a game due to it not being real).
I have so far put in $110 - quite a lot as I normally would only spend 30 - 40 £ on a game I have played for 4 weeks but it would appear you need to put in a hell of a lot more than that.
My question is why? what do you gaining by spending so much hard cash on a game? I feel there is not much to do in the game world itself as to warrant a huge investment or am I being selfish?
Or is it the chance to win something back? In my opinion, the odds of this are remote to say the least. I understand that MA is out to make a profit, but I feel for what you put into PE you don’t get much out of it. I have tried hunting but found that is so expensive in terms of not much loot and outrageous repair costs as to become prohibitive and now am trying out mining with somewhat better success but not much.
Dont get me wrong, this is not a whining session, but I just would love to hear others views on what they think…
Considering I spent $100 last night on wine, women, and song…and only a satisfied grin and a hangover to show for it…I’d say PE isnt too bad a bargin for fun and entertainment.

As Nea said, I myslef consider I am paying for entertainment. Some months I deposit more, some less. The ideea is that if you find PE fun, relaxing or something like that, it becomes the same as going to a pub and drinking or whatever…PE is just a form of entertainment
If your going to be crafting then there aren’t many ways around spending quite a bit to get started but if your hunting or mining you may want to rethink your methods and equipment.
There are ways to stretch your money especially when it comes to hunting… but it makes the game bit more boring.
