on me now im worth about 2000USD
all was great. not deposting is awesome… i wish it was still that way..
up untill the 7.6 VU ive deposited about 900 USD
so u minus that from 2000…
1100 USD im profitting if i were to cash out everything.

As to answer the question. I started late April. Deposited 1.6k USD or so. Haven’t deposited since late August.
Not sure what I’m worth though, but I do have a bunch of high TT+ values.
One thing you need to understand about players is the generation of PE they come from.
Some from beta and COT have played a very long time. Things were different back then. Skills gained faster or the loot different. I hear about people tt’n shadow becasue it dropped so often.
Now many of these older players have high skills and good equipment that allows them to be extremely economical. This is my goal. To have awesome skills and be efficient when hunting. I dont think many of those long time ubers will cash out. They love PE and will probably pass their accounts to their children in 20 yrs.
But the new generation of us dont have the luxury of 9k IRD skills or a imk2 and mod fap. We must make due with whats available and that adds 80% more to our running costs to play PE. So when people say they have played for long time look at that as a different generation. Look at those who played since start 05 or mid 04 and see how much they may have deposited.

that is what a member of “new generation” MUST deposit to get to some decent skills (i am not taking trading in consideration, i said skilling).
hunting and mining 6-7 hours a day. these are the costs. and my avvy worth like 100$, if I lookt opthimistic at it.

An advice to newbies, if they read this thread. IF they consider deposit, and they have some good wallet, put it BIG from the begining.
buy a full nemesis, buy an mkV, a fap 90, and go have fun.
Started Sep '04, deposited $600 in total.
Avatar is worth about 3500 PED in items and cash, probably another 3000 PED in blueprints and skills, so all in all … about breakeven. 
deposited round 70 usd now, worth even less in items, skills are reasonable.
but it will come.. soon.. well atleast I hope

I think that the most people are untruly or that the most normal players dont said sth to that thread. 80% is the average outcome of hunting, mining and so on. That means loss is the only consequence for every player except traders. Why are all the people except 1 or 2 in breakeven or profit…??

Ive deposit’d about 700 bucks in the 6 weeks I’ve been playing.. but the game has cost me about 900.. (completely addicted so I overwithdraw my account to get peds and get slammed with shitloads of overdraft fees)
about forty quid I think in a year and half. I put some more in for the magazine though

If you notice. most people that say they have profited have played the game between 1-5 years.
A major reason for them profiting is probably the fact that items (usually) increase in value over time. so they may have made a small direct loss in terms of hunting/mining etc. but since thier 3 year old armour is now worth the price of a 2nd hand car they come out ahead
also they have plenty of time to get a large hof in that period to recoupe any losses.
