Simple question: How do i a simple noob by the name of Craig C4n start a Soc
Just go to a soc terminal and create one…simple.
Though, don’t do what I did and recruit every jackoff with an orange jumpsuit…had to disband mine because of a pack of bad eggs.
Ungrateful curs.
i would think about it a lot before making a soc get to know the people you let in first and not just anyone that applys.
but if your sure got the a soc term (the yellow/gold one)
i think you have a week to get enough members for the soc to be accepted.
I would suggest that you don’t start one right away. You need to have 5 members within a week for final approval - get to know the people first. When you have enough friends to make the society approvable (and you know what sort of people they are), then start it.
Or consider joining another one - at least for the present. The Galt Group is looking for members, and I, for one, would be very interested in adding a tailor to our membership.
And no problem if you choose to start your own at some point in the future, too.
A very good thing to keep in mind when starting a society is to have a plan. Figure out what you want your society to do, and what you will believe in and stand for, and hence who you will try to recruit. A planned society is a happy society. 
i wanna make a crafting soc but maybe i will w8 till i know how to craft

The “Problem” is when you making a Soc every Member can add you to his Friendslist without your Confirmation. If you have the Wrong Soc Mates it can become Annoying like it happend to Setheus.
Do what you like but i suggest you Start Hunting bevore you try anyone else to get a Feeling for the Marked. Otherwhise its possibe you get Ripped off.
Maybe Craft from the Suff you looted / Mined. Get some Friends and think again about Crafting.
