I’m new to PE and really excited to begin my journey. After being pushed over by the SWG Devs (release of NGE) after being active in their community for more than 3 years I’m seeking for a new game. PE looks like my next stop and I will stay here for a while it seems :).
Anyway, Ive registered and everything with the account is working fine, except starting the game part. Yesterday I managed to stay in 20 seconds, 2 times and on the second attemt I made my char, just saw the beautiful scenery of PE before I was brutally shut down, recieving this message: Connection lost to Project Entropia. Please log in…!
I’ve submitted a ticket to the support team. But I was hoping to save them the trouble. Anyone of you encountered this problem in the past or anyone got ideas?

Don’t worry about your log in problems for the time beeing. It seems MindArk is a.) preparing the launch of the Space Resort scheduled for 21st of December or b.) messing with their servers and bandwith just to annoy us a bit
It’s good that you have filed a support case to make MindArk Support aware that there is a problem, should they not already know.
During the past week/weekend many of us experienced server instability, lag in PE, difficulties logging in, etc.
No worries, it will be fixed.

You eased my pain hehe. Was a bit worried I must admitt. Well I guess I just have to wait then, reading the boards, and eating as much info as I possible can :).
check your connection/pipeline speed on the clientloader under “Options”…sometimes ya can adjust that to be a little lower than your real speed and it helps a little.
also the towns new players start in are usually VERY laggy and easy to lose connection. If I go to PA it usually takes me about 15minutes and 10 lost connections before I can finally escape during peek hours…so also try to log in when less people are online in game.

I aggree with that. I had the same problems on my first day. And the result was, that i can only play with an internet connection of 128 Kbps, also i have 1 Mbps :rolleyes: But who cares, i can play

Welcome Ruben Y’Jenssen, glad you are with us. You’ll find that when MA is planning a big upgrade (which is a good thing) the players will experience log in problems, lag etc… we just have to tolerate it until the upgrade is released. I was beginning to think this was another repeat of SWG when it first came online.
I’ll have to try the connection settings when I get home. Of course last night was my first try at the game so wish me luck! :laugh:
I too am in Phoenix and gave up on SWG as well. I should have dumped it long ago but didn’t know this game was out there. Guess I should take more time off from work huh?
Welcome to PE and EF. One of my friends who used to play SWG is making the switch too. I can 't offer any help on bad connections in PE just that it should clear up a bit after the Holidays (all that online shopping) and after they finish up the Space Resort. I have a cable modem and live in the South Western part of the United States I experience the same problems in the same places as most people in other countries but for the most part PE is fairly stable and I don’t crash very often.
