Hair coloring is now unlocked, but I can’t color hair, 0% SR even if I put in 1k gel.
I had to try paint cans just to be sure, but it doesn’t work.

what skill level you unlocked it at?
Grats! Maybe, like sveta said, its like animal taming.. hasnt really been implemented yet. Maybe next VU it will start dropping haircolor 
I heard you can go to the yellow 50dmg pits to bleach your hair 
Well, I got an answer from support regarding haircoloring, so It seems like I’m able to color hair in the near future

yes but it has no colour defined its justs a dye set, I thot I may allow you to add colour+this to hair, looking forward to finding out - this is the 1st beauty type thing I’ve been interested in

Agreed, this one is the only one that interests me too…but not all THAT much to really care. :laugh: Most likely you mix it with some paint, or something not yet released.
As you can see, it’s called Basic hair color set.
That means that it’s only possible to color basic colors already selectable from avatar creation process.
When partycolors are unlocked, there will probably be a Party hair color set.
purple hair would be cool. or maybe some kind of light grey color.

agreed, or perhaps take it a step further… highlights! So, greyish hair with purple high lights! Or black hair with red highlights
