Hey all, just started up here after almost 3 years of SWG. But having a bit of a problem. I DLed the patch grinds from the pain. But having a slight issue. When I click on the icon for start up, i get the disclamier, click that I agree…then nothing happens at all?? Any ideas?

normally there should appear a client?
Is your connection working normally?
I really dont know what you are talking about … I don’t have any ‘disclaimer’ when starting the game … Do you talk about the place where you log in ?

Edit : there’s a disclaimer … im so used with those useless disclaimer that i didnt remember there is one 
scroll ALL the way to the bottom, then click “accept” 
Check your system for viruses which my hang iexplorer.
Check your internet, try to bypass router if u have one and direct connect to internet.
Try to shutdow your firewall, antivirus, popups protectors, etc.
Try to install PE on your main harddisk.
If he clicks on “Accept” and nothing happens, it’s because he hasn’t scrolled to the bottom. You have to do this the first and ONLY the first time you click on the “Accept” button on the bottom of the page, or else it will happen exactly as he described, no messages or anything, just nothing happens when you click the button. I’m almost positive that’s what it is. I know because it happened to me - I’m assuming most people posting responses logged in for the first time way too long ago to remember having to do it, since you never have to scroll down again.
Nope, did the scroll 4 times. It does it both on my GF’s PC and mine. I have an account aready to use. I cant take a screen shot now cause Im at work. But its the same disclaimer that you agree to just before the main patch install. Just now when I do it, it states “connecting to server” box, then when it is gone, nothing happens. No patch, no proper log in screen, nothing. Had the firewall on, turned it off and still had same result. Any other ideas?

I had the same issue. Turned out my video card (expensive as it was) didn’t rate. I went out and bought an nVidia 4400MX and it came up on the first shot.
$70 bucks, but it worked. :wise:
Lucius-- I will have to check that one. This is a brand new PC that a buddy threw together for me. I will check it. My GF and mine are mirror images to each other.
Ardorj-- God I hope not. Im not looking foward to another 3-4 hrs of that SWG is Star Wars Galaxy. Up untill about a month ago a damn good MMORPG.

ok im home right now. I have a GeForce 6800 with current, no firewall active, and still no connection. sigh Im going to uninstall and reDL everything.
slick, Sunrunner ran as Herman Toothrot and later Dionnsai, mostly around Mos Espa (Desert Flower Commune). You might know kyrie/dharma, mayor of the place for a few years, probably still is. Old bat she was. =)

ok, reinstalled, and still no joy. As soon as I can get my S-Shot host to work I will post some shots of my problem. But its pretty straight forward.
