Nah! you’re not the only one that likes the new VU Zzak.

So far since the system was brought down to install the new VU I’ve gottent he following:

  1. A medium sized apartment for 104peds as a result of the system coming down for the VU and nobody being able to bid higher on it…not that they would, but I’m happy anyway.

  2. Then after cleaning out my storage and moving the excess (Axes) to my brand new apartment I went hunting to test out the new VU since everyone was complaining. I hit my favorite spot for Argonauts and began my testing. The first few argos yielded no real loot, and I got wasted by a Raider. I returned and got whacked again by that blasted Raider! I decided to skirt around it and go for less meaty argos. I hit a 37ped mini, and another 37pedder, plus a 26pedder before I got a 65ped Global that included Paladin Mask (male), Medium Nerve Blast Chip and…a Lesser Teleport Chip! Something I’ve wanted since my 2nd day in PE.

  3. After the global loot diminished for me, but I’m stubborn as hell and kept on hunting. Got a few small 4-6 ped mini-minis and then since it was late I decided to head back to a safe spot and go to sleep. Then my radar filled with a LOT of argos and molisk. Damn! I had already hit T! I quickly singled out a lone Argonaut Gatherer and charged with my Katsuichi Honor in hand. A few very quick high damage whacks, some furious blasting from my M2875 and one last Axe hit and the argo dropped, I quickly grabbed the loot fearing the shimmering to begin any second…Lookie! a few PED and PEC plus 32 Fine Wool and a Generic Skill Implant!

Needless to say I’m quite happy with the VU. Sure mobs have changed tactics (At least to me) a bit, and the Radar thing is really messed up…plus skills weren’t AS good as I liked (But I did manage to get 100 ranks of Whip) - but I’m one happy avatar for sure.

Thanks MA!
