The system where donators to EntropiaForum doesnt see ads is ready.

If you donate to EntropiaForum using another email address than the one you signed up for EF with, then please send me a PM with details about which email address you used and how much you donated, maybe even a name, so i can add you to the list of members who doesnt see any ads.

The members who have already donated before this was in place are already added to the list and shouldnt see any ads.

If you see any ads about any other mmorpg than PE then please send me a PM (please dont post it here) with the URL to that site, so i can add it to the filter so those ads wont show, we wouldnt like to advertise any other mmorpg’s than PE.

Can I pay in peds?
And is there any minimum amount required to donate (not that i wanna donate the minimum possible, but if I have to donate 1000peds to get the adds removed I might have to pass ;))?

You can donate in Peds, creditcard or paypal is prefered though as it takes time getting the peds out of the game, but if you have no other way then peds is fine.

As for amount, there’s no minimum, what you feel like, though offering 1 peC would hardly be worth the effort. :wink:

Just wanted to add that here in the start there might not be as many interesting ads you wanna click, but that should change the more the google spider comes here, then it will “read” the posts and start showing ads that are relevant to the postings, and maybe some you wanna click too. :wink:
It is already showing some relevant ads like in the James Bond thread in off-topic, there it actually shows james bond ads :slight_smile:

i was wondering about the ads. figured a thread would pop up sometime about them.

is it all just google ads? i ask because i saw a banner ad and i don’t think google does those. thought they were text only.

They do both text and pictures ads, the picture ads are very rare though.

armors alomost always link to selfdefence sites, and kitchen table linked to a furnituremanufacturer ;))

It’s a shame that when you’re an advertiser can’t see where your ads are shoing, guess they should get a big laught if they saw where their ads was placed ;))

Hmm, you shouldnt as you are a donator, are you sure you were logged in when you saw it ?
