To begin I would first like to thank the EntropiaForum community for pulling together to fund this ad campaign for the Entropia Universe Gold Card. My hat goes off you all of you helped. Now on to the informational part of this thread.
There are many people here that will tell you that a Gold Card is a very important investment for EU. most people learn how important after its too late, and they have already been hacked losing everything they worked so hard to get. MA has made a tool available to us to help prevent hackers from getting our login information, its called a Gold Card.
With the Gold Card system actavated on your account you get an additional level of security, not only do you have your login name and your password but you must enter a code that is generated by the card and reader. this code is unique everytime you insert your card into the reader, MA claims that no 2 card and reader combos are the same your card and reader will only work on your account.
One last point i would like to make is that the card and reader are offered at the Trade Terminal (TT) for 200PED, that includes the actual card and reader as well as shipping anywhere in the world. most people claim to have gotten theirs with 1 to 2 weeks from the time of purchase.

Something I always wanted to know… once you register your GC are you forever tied to it? What if I am on vacation to visit my brother… can I log into EU on his computer or would I have to attach the reader and use my GC?
I know atleast one person that got 2 reader & 1 card when orderd!
I know this was a cloumsy misstake, but maybe someone more can make
that misstake. At the TT (atleast before), there is the option of buying
the Card & The Reader, and also a Seperate reader.
My friend accidently thought it was JUST the card, and the Reader seperate.
And ofcourse MA welcomes the money, so no questions where asked and
he got sent 1 card and 2 readers. Just so you know =)
If it’s autonom why not make just a single item wich generates security numbers ?
That would be equal to if the card chip was integrated in the reader.
Few questions:
If a cardholder be able authenticate using his own card and friend’s cardreader ? - It seems no. “your card and reader will only work on your account.”
How many digits the generated number consists of ?
