I have the Feeling Searching for Fruits is pretty Senseless.

I found 5 times Fruits sience i Play PE. First Time i was just Happy that i found some. After that i runned over the Whole Map Activating the Teleporters and always carefully Looking for Fruits but i didnt found any.

The last 4 Times the Fruits just Poped out of Nonwhere near me. The Place was Empty… dang a Fruit Spawn. I dont belive its Luck i just was around as a Fruit Spawned. I never found any where i not saw spawning next to me.

I belive they always Respawn near you and you can not find any Fruits spawned somewhere without someone was near it. The Sheme is totally Random. I have no idea how it Works. Yesterday i found 3 Times fruits other Days i found nothing.

Very Very strange but i think its pretty useless to search them.

I have found all of my fruits while hunting, and most often immediately after I kill the mob… but I have found a fruit here and there in the middle of nowhere when there isn’t a mob in sight…
so I have no idea how or when they spawn, they just do :wink:

And yes, hunting for fruits seem, well, unfruitful :smiley:

I think fruit will drop more and make more sense when MA actually implements a use for them.

I only found fruit while shooting or bombing, funny is that when i find fruit while bombing the fruit is “Bombardos” :laugh:

Maybe one has to “spend” something right next to the fruit, or maybe it only spawns when spending.

Im gonna try the first theory, run around searching while shooting with my M2201 :laugh:

The First Fruits i ever Found was 29 Papplons. I had no gun and just Sweated a few Mobs going to get some new to the Docks. But as i said bevore that was the only ones who i not have looked if they just Spawned or was allready there. Maybe someone else caused them Spawn and just overlooked them. I use 3. Person Viev and 2 Times the Fruits spawned in my Back, so its easy to Overlook them in the 1. Person Mode

But the Theory is nice. I got more Fruits by Killing something near than Running all over Eudora on Sightseeing Tour :slight_smile:

MindArk hate me,first they dont give me ANY christmas gift and they dont spawn any fruits near me either.

*Yes, maybe the reason for no gift is that I was naughty :evilking:

Remember that you spot fruits only when walking so running through continent or hunting in fast pace wont help much.

Also even when you are at right place they seem to appear after a sec or two so Im not even totally sure if you can spot them by walking straight forward in 1st person mode (they probably appear behind your back if they do).

I have found most fruit when doing some mining or hunting small mobs in crowded area (lots of short moment, walking backwards and staying still).

Same here…I’ve never found any when running…only when mining and shootng mobs…
Actually, I found some fruit once right after a loot, while i was fapping.
It’s rare to find it running, but I think the whole system for fruit at this time is completely random.

fruit just spawns, probably stays there for X amount of time before it respawns somewhere else. You can only see it within 4meters or so.

Ive found fruit absolutely everywhere - running, fapping, hunting, jumping :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

but seriously - its random. Its probably because you’re alert when you’re hunting that you see it then and not when running.

personally i think it works the same way as globals of hofs. right time, right place.

But if you want to find fruits I suggest autowalking long trips (boring I know). Just walk and same time open a PM and you keep walking without need to press W all the time.

no you can’t eat it, all you can do is mix it with sweetstuff to make a bar.
This bar has no use yet but is intended to be used in animal taming.

I have found fruit about everywhere. On land, in water and even in the domes in space station. As said they can only be seen when very close so even when walking they just pop up and dissapear rather fast! I have found no connection, what so ever, to my current actions. Sometimes hunting/looting, sometimes mining and sometimes just hanging around and a turn of the head reveal that there are some close by.

(Side note: The big bananas, in space station, called aurli can not be refined to bars. They hit hard when trying to be picked as well :frowning: )

You will never find fruits while runing. Yes you can find fruits only when you walk. There is a small delay for spawning the fruits but if you use 3rd person view you will not miss it. They are spawn randomly… it was my main source of income in my first 2 mo. The biggest find was 39 in one place.
2 days ago i found 29 in PA near the RADAR … so they could be found anywhere .

I have a new Theory

The Fruits dont spawn near you, they allready there. They have just a Stealth Level hiding them and you have to get Close to 8 Meters and being in that Radius for 3 Seconds to see them.

I found some Papplons today. I just moved a bit future and they Dissapeared again. i moved fast back and didnt saw them First. I returned now slowly Walking and Pausing and look they was there again.

So Newbies can maybe search Fruits to make Monney. They just have to walk very Slow … boring :slight_smile:

Some days i dont Find any Fruits and somedays i find 4 or 5 Spawns maybe they spawn also in Clusters, who knows

Well that’s what I think too, Fiona. Fruits are spawning and disappearing, just like mobs and mining deposits. According to a friend (thus, unsure :)), the amount is fixed for each area.
