It’s easy to set a soc to friendly or hostile, but what does it really do? At the moment, zero zip nada. So here comes my wish:
What about making the highlight-box on friends one color (blue) neutral (green) and hostile (red)? That way, in pvp you know who not to shoot, and who to aim at first. Another thing would be a msg in chat-window when shooting friendly people “This soc is a friendly one, think twice before shooting”, and maybe something when others put your soc as friendly.
Some updates are supposed to be comeing as it said in the roda map the society function will be depened, I dont think it is going to take a whole VU for this there for we could see this come into effect at any time

what would be realy kewl is if when you set people to friendly (including your own soc m8’s) in pvp you can not do dmg to them.

with no skillgain if you attack them of course. Or else it would be the perfect way to skill.

that would be cool, but then again… muhahahahah! sometimes you need to kill even your friends (ie lg) :evilking:

I don’t like this idea, friendly fire should always be possible, it just adds that little extra realism in my opinion.
Other than that, I agree with Shadow
Edit: quick little idea, what about a little penalty when you shoot an “ally” or a “friend”, like you take half the damage done to your friend?
Don’t know if it’s a good or a bad idea, but it just popped up in my mind :silly2:
