OK- I’m always too interested in the off-topics… sry…
But was just having a discussion about some of my favorite childhood toys… funny to think back on what I played with as a kid and see how it has impacted me today.
Unfortunately, I never played much with Legos or construction blocks… and to this day I am awful with such things
*Svetka- who spent most of her childhood playing with Barbies…grrr and look what that did to me :silly2:
turtles (teenage mutant ninja turtles, not some gay ass regular ones)
me and my brothers had all sorts of turtles stuff, toys, games, shoes, clothes, posters, stickers, pillows and sheets etc etc.
I had leonardo stuff, lil bro had michelangelo and big bro had donatello.
none of us liked rafael because of his sissy excuse of a weapon, forks are meant for putting food in your mouth, not kicking ass.
They didn’t show it on any Swedish channels but we still watched it every saturday and sunday morning even though we couldn’t understand a word of what they said. and we taped them so we could watch a couple of more times during the week, I still have a whole bunch of tapes in a box somewhere.

nice… no wonder you like kicking some serious arse in game
But when I was kid: legos! Nothing was better than legos and I still kind of get excited when I see them. Im 24 and I probably still couldnt leave them alone if someone would leave them at my reach
I never had barbie dolls and Im still bitter. I always got some cheaper fake barbies because they were cheaper. Neighborhood had no girls so played with guys (even with HeMan figures  ).
Still… my best toy for over 20 years have been just a pencil and a paper
I second Essi, lego is definately my favourite toy of all time. Its even a great learning tool, in my machine design class (mech engineering) the instructor gave out technic lego set in order to help us visualize how differentials work, how gear mesh etc etc.. and we are even allowed to bring the legos in for our final exam..
ehum toys… hmm gotta think hard… its some years ago… since i had those kinda toys u talk about
well… we had lego ofcorse and .. somhow i ended up in sandpit with boys playing with cars… how did i do that well…we made roads and houses we sorta crashed into all time…
and later we played indians and cowboys and i ust had to have a gun that said kabooom but didet shoot anything..ofcorse i was a child…
but things like items… as toys ..hmmm well babies was good for one thing see how mush thay culd handle before they got into pices..giggle
oo just realised i liked smurfs… and build homes for them in lego… hmmm looong time ago.. hehehe
but then im no ordernary girl
nowdays theres so many fun toys… oo ok sure thats a other story
Legos!
I think the last time I played with those was only a year or two ago, Lmao.
My friend and I would stay up till 4AM building stupid crap and listening to music. I always tried to use as many blocks as possible to build the biggest, ugliest… blob of a mess(with wheels!) possible.
I think it was legos too yea, altho i have a very sucky memory
We also had some really cool wooden blocks (all the same size, 1031), and you could build giant contructions with them, we often used to build whole afternoons towers till the roof, huge bridges, or builded a tower around someone, really huge fun!
Yay, i just found the url: http://www.kapla.com/index_en.html The gallery
OK if you guys really want to know
1.Legos
2.Playmobile systems (well mostly my brother played these but i was there to destroy his forts)
3. GI JOE!
4. Marvel Toys (wolverine was my fav ;))
5. Alien/Predator toys, realy cool and detailed
Legos and I also loved constructing bombs!
And real earliy, like before I started at school I did get statisfaction from stealing dad`s miniaxe and chop down threes in a nearby little wood
My dad built me a treefort and my little brother and i would have huge wars with the other kids in the neighborhood, we had a pulley set up so we could raise up rotten apples from the ground and then throw them at the kids
good times! We also played alot with fake guns
I liked treeforts too, until one day when some idiot threw a rock in my head when we were attacking. It didn’t hurt much at first but when I noticed the bleeding I panicked and started screaming like crazy.
