fap-90 of course
unless you need that 2 extra heal bad enough to pay 2 extra pec per click ![]()
not just extra 2 heal, its also got faster reload..
i’d say, its what you want from a fap - economy and price, fap90. speed and heal, ek2600.
the deacay rate on both combined with the extra 2 hp over the 324 extra clicks
if you took both faps and they both did max heal everytime…it looks like the fap 90 has the advantage. but if you look at the avarage hp per sec the 2600 is a little quicker to heal up …i would go with the fap 90 will last ya lot longer then the 2600 ![]()
fap 90 40x1457=58,280 hptotal
ek-2600 42x1133=47586 hptotal
hope this helped

last time I tested (with clicker) they were exactly the same

Very good question! I own a EK-2600 and am looking to buy a FAP-90, but I’d still suggest the EK-2600 ![]()
Some figures follow to get a better comparison. I’ve included 6 different values for both FAPs, to give an illustation of what you could expect at different skill levels. From a Minimum Heal with FAP-5 of 1 (Newcomer) to a value of 10. Note: I’ve included a FAP-50 as I’ll discuss that further below.
EK-2600:
Min. : HP/Sec : HP/Pec
1.0 : 6.36 : 1.56
2.0 : 12.73 : 3.11
2.5 : 15.08 : 3.69
3.3 : 17.15 : 4.19
5.0 : 18.82 : 4.60
10.0 : 19.09 : 4.67
FAP-90:
Min. : HP/Sec : HP/Pec
1.0 : 6.14 : 1.93
2.0 : 12.27 : 3.86
2.5 : 14.53 : 4.57
3.3 : 16.50 : 5.18
5.0 : 18.02 : 5.66
10.0 : 18.18 : 5.71
FAP-50:
Min. : HP/Sec : HP/Pec
1.0 : 2.96 : 2.00
2.0 : 5.93 : 4.00
2.5 : 7.00 : 4.73
3.3 : 8.03 : 5.42
5.0 : 9.02 : 6.09
10.0 : 9.63 : 6.50
So why would I suggest EK-2600? Simple. You shouldn’t be hunting something you need to FAP continuously against, and a FAP of the class above should only be used during combat. The primary function of the FAP should be to keep you alive in tight situations! NEVER use either of these FAPs between mobs, use a FAP-5! Or if you don’t wish to lose tempo in your hunt, use a FAP-50. Aside: I mostly use a FAP-50 between mobs as I don’t want to lose out on the HOF after camping an area for 2 hours.
For a 400-700 PED hunt, you shouldn’t really have more than 3 PED decay on your EK-2600 or FAP-90. If you do, then you’re probably hunting the wrong mob for your equipment!
Comparison of EK-2600 and FAP-90 using Minimum Heal with FAP-5 of 3.3:
Using 3 PED decay with EK-2600; to heal the same amount of HP (1257) with FAP-90 would cost 2.43 PED, a saving of 0.57 PED. However, the slightly higher HP/Sec of the EK-2600 could prevent you from dying once in a while, and you may find yourself FAPing slightly less as you will be able to outFAP a mob that little bit quicker.
Difficult decision to make, but look at the figures above and decide whether the HP/Pec of the FAP-90 outweighs the HP/Sec of the EK-2600 sufficiently. Alternately, you could buy an ADJ, IMP or MOD FAP :tongue3:
i know this is weird and i compare differt FAPs than in OP but to my experience i heal 42 with ek-2600 way more often than 26 with fap-50 :/. Minheal with fap-5 is 5.4 btw.

that will be to do with intervals i guess

I total agree with this point.
Annyway.
I never take a MOB i can not kill before i die.
The fact is simple.
How better your Evade, how lower the chance of get killed before you strike the MOB down.
A specialized Armor to the MOB could be more efective & give more skills.
I maybe take a high level FAP when i have 4k in FAP. But that wil take a bit from now ![]()
Until that time i stay @ FAP5 for between combat or FAP 15 for faster heal.
Iam not wiered to spend 2 PEDs for a simple click. There better ways to spend it for.
EK- 2600 is what you can use without Armor.

As Aio says, it’s your intervals. As a rule of thumb, the higher the max heal of a FAP, the greater chance you have of healing full.
In your case, you should heal 42 with EK-2600 14 out of 15 times, but heal 26 with FAP-50 only 9 out of 11 times!
Thanks again Geekman for a great resource: http://faps.pecharts.info/

Yes, this has to do with intervals. (i) in the link I send you here.
http://entropia-pioneers.kicks-ass.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=10325
FAP-50 has 11 intervals. From 3i to 13i
EMT EK-2600 has 15 intervals. From 7i to 21i
(FAP-90 has 14 intervals. From 7i to 20i)
If your (i) = 3.0 (Means you heal 3.00 as minimum heal with FAP-5)
then you get following heals with FAP-50
9.0 - 12.0 - 15.0 - 18.0 - 21.0 - 24.0 - 26.0 - 26.0 - 26.0 - 26.0 - 26.0
and you will get the following heals with EK2600
21.0 - 24.0 - 27.0 - 30.0 - 33.0 - 36.0 - 39.0 - 42.0 - 42.0 - 42.0 - 42.0 - 42.0 - 42.0 - 42.0 - 42.0
With FAP-50, you will then heal 5 times max (cap) 26.0 HP. That means 5/11 = 45.45% of the times.
With EK-2600, you will then heal 7 times max (cap) 42.0 HP. That means 8/15 = 53.33% of the times.
When we talk about FAP-90, your heals would then be:
21.0 - 24.0 - 27.0 - 30.0 - 33.0 - 36.0 - 39.0 - 40.0 - 40.0 - 40.0 - 40.0 - 40.0 - 40.0 - 40.0
(7/14 = 50.00%)
Conclusion is that you will more frequent hit cap for your EK2600 then for your FAP-50 if (i)=3.0
For your situation, where (i)= 5.4. (I will make it some more easier and say that you have it as 5.40)
Then I get the following intervals for:
FAP-50: 16.2 - 21.6 - 26.0 - 26.0 - 26.0 - 26.0 - 26.0 - 26.0 - 26.0 - 26.0 -26.0
EK2600: 37.8 - 42.0 - 42.0 - 42.0 - 42.0 - 42.0 - 42.0 - 42.0 - 42.0 - 42.0 - 42.0 - 42.0 - 42.0 - 42.0 - 42.0
Means that you heal 9/11 = 81.82% max with FAP 50 and 14/15 = 93.33% max with EMT EK2600.
