Just to let people know, I use an individual email address for all my subscriptiions. This particular email was recieved through the email address I used to sign up for PE-MONITOR. I only signed up within the last 2 day’s.

yeah i would say that anyone who falls for an email coming from a hotmail account needs to be a victim of natural selection. even beyond the hotmail address, ‘employee of project entropia’? no… they would be an ‘employee of mindark’…

WHat a smart guy..using a hotmail account. Thats like VISA sending me mails asking for my code and they use a gmail account doing it :rolleyes:

Besides 1 ped per scammer?And how would MA in theory be able to handle all the fake scammer reports from poor noobs wanting free cash.The guy sending this email is such a noob that its almost silly :smiley:

That guy must really be a n00b or just not know the value of 1 PED, why not say 100 PED per scam report as he wouldn’t need to give the person any money anyway. :wise:

I’m still in negotiations with the guy via email, just for fun. I’ll post all the emails once I have finnished. Wonder how long I can play with him for? Sorry, but I’ve found a new toy to play with. I may meet him ingame and have him dance for me :slight_smile:

email scammer …

Hi folks,

I am the webmaster of pe-monitor. That scam attempt is a very annoying thing. The guy tried it in the forum and via e-mail. I filed a report to MA.

The email adress of some users were visible for users who were logged in. (Not for all users, not for spiders etc.). That clown wrote down the email adresses (about 20) and mailed them personally. Very sorry about that, now all email adresses are removed. (Except users write them in our forum.)

Just a note at the end: pe-monitor and MA (and all other sites) NEVER EVER will ask you about your login password via email.

I will delete the forum post on pe-monitor.com tomorrow, so don’t wonder if you can’t find it …

As promised, details of emails sent. Its just the back end of em, but I thought I’de post em anyway. His replys are in bold.

The login spells ‘I am a tosser’ the I is a number 1 and the tosser contains

The password spells: I am a scrotum. The I again, is a number 1 and the o
in scrotum is a 0(Zero)

you should be fine if you use those details. Let me know if you have any
problems and I will change my passowrd etc. I never got round to it cuz its
on a shortcut.

i just sent a pm msn to my friend at support , and he says he would be
suprise that such an explicit login and pass could have been registered
