Face sculpting chair

here it is;

these chairs are found under housing/furniture

A seperate section for “Beauty” would have been a good idea for the auction I think.
So now I guess you have to own an apartment to be a beautician otherwise someone will steal your chair right?

Yes. (where apartment = any owned estate)

That’s actually a nice way to do it. What would be a cool touch would be if people could have a small sign at the entrance to their estate saying “Body sculpting” or “hair styling” etc.

It will be interesting to see the full procedure, I hope someone makes screenshots to show everyone.

Funny though how people want 2500peds start for it.Greedy asses since I presume it will cost loads in materials to modify bodies a tiny bit

I am gonna supply body sculpting items for tt cost just to prove my point that others ingame are greedy asses

knuckles, im with ya on that one. i give tailoring mats to ppl in semi-bulk for 110% all the time even tho its often stuff like soft hide, green paint, etc. this game turns ppl against each other =P although ill concede that this vu seems ok so far. loot and skillgain are reasonable, but i havent hunted much. hope it STAYS reasonable.. h0h0h0h0

Yes I agree Knuckles… because they may get their money now.. but they’ll be the first one’s to start crying their eyes out when a hairdresser charges crazy money for a style change

Yes I was thinking the same. Even better might be to have a current listing eventually at the entrance (or in the foyer area) to each apartment building with the names of the ppl that offer beauty services and their apartment numbers.

omg… i must write on paper that day , and put it near my comp , then i will remember evrything can happen…
i give rep+ to knucles…

Anyone know what drops it?

i would prefert that you can put the chair on ground , and it still your .like mining clain where you got deed in inventaire.

i think the appartement system will bring lots problem , with lazy people…

in other hand , that give an real interest to apartement… that part is nice.
i wait to see how it come…

go one step farther, why not use the shops in the entrance halls?

That is also a good suggestion and i think there are pro’s and cons for both systems.

pro Etopia:

  1. You can get beauty done anywhere the beautician is located.
  2. Easier for beautician and client.
  3. More fun, everyone can watch.

Anti Etopia:

  1. Might block up auction areas.

pro MA:

  1. Makes getting beauty more of an experience by visiting someones apartment to get it done.
  2. More buisness-like experience.
  3. Keeps big chairs (and crowds watching) away from auction rooms.

Anti MA:

  1. Not good to have the possibility of being shot in the head while undergoing beauty. (Wonder what happens if the procedure isn’t 100% complete and someone pk’s you).
  2. Lots of leg work for beauticians who have to advertise their services in towns - kinda like selling space tickets.

I guess the beautician would make his/her appartment private for the sessions

if thats the only bad things you found , then my idea is not soo bad

i think the chair can be put only on ground , not inside SC like evry item should be.
and if bastard want lok you inside a SC they can if they are 2 or 3…
but its against eula , and here its up to MA to do their job sometime ( like whant it rainy) and ban som bastard from this nice game

they should make small areas in towns that you could rent for a few peds per hour or something, would be much too time consuimg to run back and forth from town every time you have a client.

I was under the impression that when avatar adjustments came it would be via something MA refered to as a “bodyshop” (could just be tattoos and piercings though) and that new crafts would involve making furtniture and food.

I think it would have been better if players could have changed their avatar whenever they wanted using the creation tool - unused voting machines could have been put to use and MA could have charged people to access the creation tool from the machine.

Etopia’s idea is the better one, but really why even involve a chair?
I think people would be doing these crafts already if it wasn’t for a minority asking stupid money for the chair.

This is a good idea, I will add it to the to-do list for the shopping area of the Treasure Island website - I suspect at least one of the current or future estate owners there will like it

To me making estates more useful is good, as it increases interest in them and also their value to current owners. It will also make estate areas a little more active
