Explanations about Fast Aid Packs.
I will try to give an explination about how FAP’s (Fast Aid Pack’s) are working.
Most of the experiences I got when skilling FA for near 1 year ago.
See this post at EP for more information.

There are several FAP’s out in the market. Both looted and crafted.
Even in TT we can find a FAP.
The following FAPs’ that I will describe here is:
FAP-5
FAP-50
FAP-90
EMT EK2600
The main function a FAP does is to cure yourself or another avatar by giving health points (HP). This is done by taking “action” when you hold a FAP in your hands. Meaning that you click on mouse button to make an action.
The action will result in following:
- Give health point (HP) to the “target”
- raise your “actionbar” some % in different skills.
“target” can be yourself or another avatar.
The amount of HP you give to the target depend of your (i).
(i) depend of several skills. I will explain more of how (i) is determinated later.
H is total healthpoints recieved from action taken when clicking mouse button.
For different FAP’s, there are different numbers of intervals.
In the basic thermology, I will use FAP-5 to explain this better.
I suggest you to read information from this link:
http://entropia-pioneers.kicks-ass.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=10325
if you want to study the formulas behind what I explain more closely.
FAP-5 has 5 intervals.
In this post, I wil call the intervals for A, B, C, D and E.
Total heal that you give your target when using FAP-5 is Ai, Bi, Ci, Di and E*i.
To make this easier to understand I allready found out following:
5A = 4B = 3C = 2D = 1E
This means that you can also use the determination that you heal the following with FAP-5:
i, 2i, 3i, 4i and 5i.
To make it easier, (i) is also the same as your minimum heal with FAP-5.
(To not make it that easy, (i) has more then 1 decimal even if only 1 decimal will be shown)
For a new player, (i)=1.00 and total heal will then variate between
1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 and 5.0 HP.
As soon as skills raise, the (i) will also raise.
When minimum heal with FAP-5 is f.ex 1.50, you will get following HP:
1.5, 3.0, 4.5, 6.0 and 7.5
You see that average HP now is much higher then the new player that had his (i)=1.0.
Other FAP’s have more intervals and also start at a higher interval.
Since I uses letters in this post, I will also do it in the following:
FAP-5 use: A, B, C, D and E. (Total 5 intervals)
FAP-50 use: C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L and M. (Total 11 intervals)
FAP-90 use: G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S and T. (Total 14 intervals)
EMT EK-2600 use: G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T and U. (Total 15 intervals)
It can also be explained like this:
FAP-5: 1-5(i)
FAP-50: 3-11(i)
FAP-90: 7-20(i)
EMT EK2600: 7-21(i)
There exist a cap of health point gained for each FAP.
The cap will be reached as soon as your (i)>2.00
Following caps for the FAP’s I posted info from:
FAP-5: 10 HP
FAP-50: 26 HP
FAP-90: 40 HP
EMT EK2600: 42 HP
This means that you will not be able to heal more with your FAP’s then the cap even if your (i) is over 2.00. F.ex if your (i) is 4.00, you will only heal following with FAP-50:
C - D - E - F - G - H - I - J - K - L - M
12.0 - 16.0 - 20.0 - 24.0 - 26.0 - 26.0 - 26.0 - 26.0 - 26.0 - 26.0 - 26.0
Different FAP’s has different speed, decay and TT-value.
Which FAP you will use, depend of your skills and other factors like time, needs, etc.
Following facts for those FAPs: (reload speed taken from GeekMan’s chart)
FAP: intervals - decay - speed - TT
FAP-5: 1-5(i) - 1.00 pec - 3000 ms - 15.00 ped
FAP-50: 3-13(i) - 4.00 pec - 2700 ms - 50.00 ped
FAP-90: 7-20(i) - 7.00 pec - 2200 ms - 120.00 ped
EK2600: 7-21(i) - 9.00 pec - 2200 ms - 120.00 ped
As you can see, it is not recomaned to use higher level FAP’s (FAP-90 or EK2600) before your (i) has raised some.
I can give an example here:
FAP-90, (i)=1.00
Heals: 7.0 - 8.0 - 9.0 - 10.0 - 11.0 - 12.0 - 13.0 - 14.0 - 15.0 - 16.0 - 17.0 - 18.0 - 19.0 - 20.0
Max heal of 20.0 HP and decay of 7 pec each time is not very economical.
If your (i)=4.0, you would gain following:
28.0 - 32.0 - 36.0 - 40.0 - 40.0 - 40.0 - 40.0 - 40.0 - 40.0 - 40.0 - 40.0 - 40.0 - 40.0 - 40.0
We can absolutly tell that skills helps. :wise:
When you heal max each time for the FAP’s, maybe you don’t need to train more, but anyway new features can come from MA in the future. Like the need of athletic skill to run faster, etc. Some of the triggered skills can then be usefull so I would not stop skilling FA if you want to be on top in the future.
A side note, is that you only heal 1/4 when you are moving. This does not count when you only walk backwards.
Following skills can be unlocked from training FA:
-medicine
-treatment
-medical therapy
-scientist
I also hear rumors about another triggered skill after scientist, but can’t confirm it yet.
About the section where I mentioned that you raise your “actionbar”
Each action you do, will result in some % raise on a hidden actionbar.
When actionbar hit 100%, you will gain experience point and show an output message. Each time you see that message, you will see that your skill bar in the action taken will raise. Depend on how many skills you have, you will raise skills from different numbers of experience points. (xp)
Each action you do ingame can raise various actionbar. Like f.ex when you use FAP, you will raise both First Aid, Diagnosis, Intelligence, and various other actionbars. When more then 1 actionbar reach 100% in same time, you will also get more then 1 output message about that you gained experience.
I hope this will give you some help about First Aid in Project Entropia.
Enjoy!!!
