This forum is for posting Events related to project-entropia.
When you add an event, [SIZE=3]please[/SIZE] add it to the events calendar also.
Adding it to the events calendar also makes it so other members can request a reminder of the event, and so the event shows up on “What’s going on”.
Please try and add the date of the event to the thread topic, like so…

Can we have an update on what types of events are valid in this forum?
Reason I ask if that today one topic was moved to the “forum games” section, but some similar threads are still here.
Maybe we can split the forum to:
Events who do not fall into one of these categories should be in the forum games, like “guess a random number” or “who can make the most posts” etc.

The requirements for this forum seem quite clear to me:
Only events that take place inside EntropiaUniverse belong in the Events forum.
There is no need to differentiate between actual EU event-system events and others (such as Land Area globals competitions) at this time.
All other “events” such as forum games, etc. belong in the off-topic section. If you see any such threads in the Events forum, please user the Report Bad Post tool to alert a moderator.
It wasn’t about the requirements at all.
An example why you should consider adding subforums:
Those events that are made with the offical event system often have a prize of some sort - like in a hunting competition.
But there are still many unofficial events taking place, where there is no prize but the honor of winning - such as a beauty contest.
Ok, that’s cool with me, but what about “events” where “participants” have to take a screenshot of something ingame (mountain, # of skills in a row, etc.) and upload the pic to the forum. The actual event takes place on the forum, but requires an ingame action aswell.
Konve, I don’t think the prizes should be a requirement. A boxing championship just for honour is still a valid EU event imo.
