Went into the city centre to day to see Liverpool come home, it was absolutely amazing! I’ve never seen so many people in the city centre. I live about 10 minutes from there and drove in with the kids. I thought I may be able to park near where they were due to stop. Not a chance!

This is what happened to a busdriver who thought he had a chance, this was most amusing to watch. The police eventually gave up and removed the passengers and driver :laugh:
That kind of thing annoy’s me. They are clearly causing an obstruction to the roads. If I needed to go there to buy something, or work or whatever, I’d have trouble because all these people wanted to see a bunch of other people.
I pay a road tax to be able to drive on the roads, the fact that I would be unable to drive on that road pisses me off. I want a refund and an aploogy from the government!! (ok this is slightly a joke)
The point stands tho, I fail to understand why anyone would do such a thing.
By saying a bunch of people going to see another bunch of people I would hazard a guess Dirk isnt a Football Fan
Radio 1 this morning was saying around 750,000 people turned up. Anfield normally gets around 40,000 on a weekend, whered the other 710,000 come from? :laugh:
Full Gratz to Liverpool anyway, am very proud that an English club won the Trophy (only cos my team Grimsby Town, will never ever get to Europe anyway )
