I’m confused as to (at least in the webshop for established avatars) why it says buyers of the starter packs get extra avatar customisation. Presumably if we buy one, we dont get to go over our avatars again?
If so…thats pretty nice of MA I guess. If not, why is it listed?
Newcomers are served with starter pack.
Much better options then old fap5, punisher or maybe crafted jester with no sib and pioneer armor wich was in TT in old days…
Ah economy.. crafters cant sell jester D-1, because of sib weapons, because of starter pack ect .. but who care - newcomers are happy. (economy insertion here is just an excuse to be able to wish more)
Why is listed? (Hmm… ah maybe to add hair under ava underpants).
I dont know MA motive to let that option also for active players.
Maybe if they remove that option they would need to offer something else and that could be time cosuming to do.
On other side MA will update engine sooner or latter.
One of reasons to why sit down and lie down functions were removed on VU10 is appart wrong designed and animated sitting on chair also because ava could fall trought floor in underground.
All things were hard to reimplement, recode, redesign - that is also same reason as to why inventing and adding tool for sweating.
I belive we will need to pass again trought avatar creation once MA decide to rework those things or to apply newer engine.
Untill now we had many free occassions to remake our ava what caused stealing job to beauticans and killing that profession, next time we will have an excuse - we paid it.
Hmm my guess is since this is a starters pack for new players, not aimed at us older players.
If a new player get this starters pack before/during creating his/her avatar, they get the extra options.
To avoid confusion they just stick to one pack for each prize.
I doubt current users who purchase this pack will get the extra options.
See it as a free option for the new players.
How to get the Salafa G1/2 I know its from planet toulan but is it lootable or craftable? If lootable might thou share what mob drops it? Ain’t nothing better than a 3.0X dpp finisher imo :ahh:
They are lootable on Toulan.
I don’t remember exactly from which mobs. But I only hunted the small(est) mobs, and still haven’t been able to use up the whole looted stack.
They drop a lot!
All the weapons in the bottom half are lootable on Toulan, and in great amounts, that’s why I included them (the new amp is a godsend for a newbie living on Toulan); in this table I put only laser ones but there are also many good blp and melee in loot. Salafa drops from Qaffaz, and not 100% but think from Jeef too. Anyway, with the current drop rate you’ll figure that out after a first dozen of kills
I might have actually considered buying one of these if the “premium chardef” option applied to my account as-well
As it stands i’m really happy with the Adj. Harrier suit i won, it looks freaking sweet ^^ http://i.imgur.com/EXo7r1v.jpg http://i.imgur.com/6afTVnw.png
The “Metabolic Acceleration” effect supposedly increases my movement speed by 8% …but the effect is unnoticeable with the naked eye
Also, if i were to buy the Gold Pack, i would supposedly get another identical set? …too bad they’re untradeable then xD
You just don’t get it (I won’t explain, just try it :p).
As a noob (and I am atm), the starter packs are awesome. I am having a blast with it.
If a mob kill you with this armor stats, it just indicates you don’t have to hunt this mob.
If you need a little more protection, just add 1a or 2a armor plates and you won’t notice the decay bill
I looted five Salafa G1 (L) from Caboria in ~15 minutes.
A serious downside to Salafas is that they hurt your eyes (someone mistakenly attached a flash grenade effect? :scratch2:) - if you intend to use them more often than once an hour, you’d better do so with your eyes closed.
Why, when I was a noob, the only way we could have such armor was to somehow manage to walk all the way to Zychion Citadel. Yes, walk. I know this may be hard for some of you kids to believe, but Calypso didn’t always have these newfangled cars and helicopters and boats and spaceships and hoverthingys that you softies enjoy now. We had our FEET, and we were thankful!
The ones that did manage to make it there and had a few PEDs to scrape together could buy some Pioneer armor from one of the few shops still operating there. Man, I had arrived! Pioneer had double the protection of Settler!
The ones that didn’t save up PEDs before making the journey? They were probably still there when the robots came again.
