MindArk and the Planet Partners strive to ensure a smooth and problem-free Version Update. Nevertheless, even after extensive testing some issues may arise after release. Such issues are often addressed via mini-patches directly after a release and in subsequent patches. If you feel that the possibility of encountering minor issues or bugs directly after a Version Update affects your gameplay to an extent that Entropia Universe is not enjoyable, please wait until the mini-patches have been released and any last minute issues have been resolved.

Ah! Interesting rewind of rewind, erm reworking of rewind, to now have landscape recording, plus better options for mixing frame rate and resolution. I may not laugh if landscape mode only captures one third of the vertical space, however!
WHY can’t you improve stuff like this before it gets launched? I’m not knocking the speed of improvements in the timeframe of ONE WEEK, but why your processes don’t go through a phase of “virtual launch” or whatever, in which a wider team (players?) can tell whoever put the content together the rather obvious problems with it? Even good video footage of the new content would probably be enough for quite a few obvious things -THEN put it in the game for everyone.
I shall now attempt to download the new client loader, rewind and other features that I have put on hold for a week (is it a week?)

Great little patch. Glad I can use those spare keys from Lahar Rdi lab now. Next job is to add the option on entrance to scale it up a few levels for slight harder mobs and better rewards at the end.

Thnks

Who created the mess that is the HOF window, everything about it is wrong. Doesn’t scale when resizing, it’s slow, ugly, fields overlapping…

AI

The HOF window is extremely bad. I don’t even look at it anymore. They need to make an instant loading easy to read one. I think they get too obsessed with this new program they got and then do everything with it, even things that shouldn’t be done with it.

@Ludvig|MindArk

Can you keep the idea of gold silver bronze on top 3 but make it easier to read especially the rest and instant load all. Not go to different professions then have to load again.

go back to old HOF window please

I like the new hof window

The idea behind it sounds good on paper but just hard to read and crappy to have load it every time even if just checking something for 2 seconds. I’m not saying to make it not fancy and nice looking to get people addicted to seeing their name up on it just find a better way to make it readable if possible. There’s got to be a way to have it insta-load everything too I would think

It’s also creating a terrible lag when other things are open like the auction graph on resources …

Auction is having problems also trying to put tesources up for sale, because of the lag…

Its all getting worse and worse.

Ah ya the chromium edge thingy they love using now is being used on absolutely everything even simpler HOF list with just a few words is causing lag etc imagine if they do this to the auction. We will be screwed and sales will plummet even further from people not browsing it similiar to how I stopped browsing the hof board. Or what if it’s used for mining UI that’d suck too trying to drop bombs fast but then have to wait for it to load first. Maybe it can be optimized somehow.

I’ve mentioned that the Chromium UI uses a lot of resources (for my machine just one of those new windows can be tricky) and MindArk needs to learn first how to code with it properly rather than forcing us to buy new hardware instead. Hardware prices are spiking…

For starters, a toggle to disable all useless animations would be nice.

Personally I actually hope that more and more users run into these situations to have MindArk reevaluate their approach to those UI-changes. No, I don’t mean anything bad to anyone, I mean this from a broader perspective.

Just imagine they switch the AH-UI and half of the players aren’t able to use it… There goes your last chance for markup…

For those who thinks hof list is ugly, here’s how to view hofs normally (no ai slop):

I mean I like the look, not the function. I find it easy to read but it is too large, doesn’t reshape easily, and is slow yes those all are issues.

Wait you don’t use AI at all for entropiacentral’s coding? Wow that’s impressive

I do, but for tedious tasks.

Marketprices for single items show the same simplified window(y)

I think we just need to criticize you more, then you change things to a better version. I just dont see why it cant be that way right from the get go
GOOD JOB on this patch.

(Now go work on that HIDEOUS HOF window).
