Add 95% shrapnel return when killing any player or destroying their vehicle in PvP zones (non lootable).
For the most part many in HC dont bother with shooting the vehicles, its pretty pointless since the person would have to get out to get on the claim. (Except me, i like making them go boom and dgaf about the money ?)
If however more people ran in, you can be sure they will shoot you. So overall actually increasing thier costs?
I do agree with Eve though its such a daft tactic and takes away from the essence of pvp. People who want to pvp - skill, train, find high tier L gear, gain as much HP as they can. All these things contribute to the game and the betterment of pvp, not some people trying to grief and be a general nuisance.
It would be amazing to see more people actually want to pvp and not try and find ways around it and crying its not fair.
Nice changes from MA, and I look forward to having more real fights from people actively trying to learn to pk ![]()
Ya I agree griefing is just dumb I just need to get there faster after dying lol and I donât want people getting bored having to run further and less chances to fight that just started. We needa keep em coming more players is better. The fortnite pitbull fort people make in ashi is just stupid so that is a good change for those that go.
It helps PVP if you and other participate to kill other players. Not if you participate just to make other players spend.
Participating to make them spend, has nothing to do with the greater good of the game, is just rallying up people on an absurd hate train and itâs the reason attacks are not successful for years. Itâs not building up a core of players that develop a friendship based on common interests and having fun but instead itâs about getting anyone that can hold up a gun to become cannon fodder, people will see through the smoke and how pointless this is and cannot blame them for giving up and only have a handful of players that attack, for various reasonsâŚ
Who told you this is getting into and helping pvp? They are doing you a huge disservice.
All people think is its some newer players who have been given terrible advice, being spectators at lg. We ofc encourage anyone to come along, the more people who want to get into pvp the better! But dont be under any illusion driving a pit bull into a wall is bettering pvp.
Come fight! Skill up, increase your hp. Use pvp armours and weapons, pills rings buffs tattoos anything you can get your hands on! Learn how to pvp and come kill ppl! Thats getting into and helping pvp.
i think vehicles not being allowed near fort at land grab or at rig is a good idea, they serve zero purpose other than an attempt to make people spend far more in the process of killing you. Most of times the vehicles are left alone unless being used as a shield or a flying vehicle to access the walls and teleport room quicker.
This change also prevents hardcore from flying back onto the walls, so the way I see it is we all will be teleporting back to the same areas and the intensity of the fighting outside the fort will increase tenfold, which is perfect
And if people actually want to take part in PvP, they will do so even without hiding in a pitbull. ?
I think implementing some return on shooting vehicles makes sense.
Removing them from LG / Rig makes little sense given that the market just got stimulated with the recent Tank event, but if itâs a temporary fix until the aforementioned is implemented, cool.
Are you saying we get the shots returned ?!
O no I mean money spent comes back in the form of taxes not as loot window like red zone
To who ? Not to us for sure.
I wasnât sure what you meant with that. That is why Iâm asking
this is what happens when you get educated by random people on youtube
Ah ok nevermind I thought the LAs paid taxes to the society.. im new to it still nevermind my bad .. either way stopping vehicles seems weird for LG but maybe someone asked for it. Griefing like building fortnite pitbull forts in ashi is stupid and I am against that too so was a good change. Well see how it plays out hope lot participate in LG still who started up
wait a second. wasnât there that crafting event like 6 months ago whose entire purpose was to get tanks and tank weapon bpâs, whose primary purpose has always been for landgrabs? and now they canât be used in landgrabs?
Ya Socrates went pretty strong with bringing them out but unfortunately they are so expensive that no1 wants to use them lol
Itâs in the Loot 2.0 announcement:
https://www.entropiauniverse.com/bulletin/buzz/2017/06/08/Developer-Notesâ11âLoot-2.0.xml
âA special hunting bonus pool will be implemented that will distribute funds from various sources, including skill misses, PVP, marketing and special events, which will improve overall loot returns for all participants.â
This has widely been assumed to be the bonus stacks of shrapnel when looting mobs.
Did the inventory tracking get reset by this patch?
I wanted to write something positive for a change, but havenât been able to review it due to it having reset.
Still, I see changes have been made according to notes, so it may be pointless to review it anyway until it reaches its typical state of set in stone and forgotten about after a patch or two!
FYI: Iâm the one who coded that page on the account web site.
Yes it did. Sorry for that. The data that was tracked by the first version of âInventory Changesâ did not include an initial PED card balance and some other values. I couldnât figure out a nice way to inform the user or transparently âfixâ it without it being confusing, wrong or too much effort.
Itâs a bit of a pain to stay backwards compatible when changing data structures. Iâll try a bit harder next time.
Game has been choppy for me today, had to lower graphics settings to medium from very high. After the previous path everything felt smoother but now that seems reverted.
Iâve also lowered settings, but cannot lower much further unfortunately. Between the new graphics ram introduction and the patch, lags were coming at odd spacings. After this patch Iâve not had those, but continuous framerate was jerky, so thus the lowering.
On the inventory page, I wanted to test stuff such as auction sales, but didnât do it in that one week. I assumed shop sales might be tracked a bit better now, as they go from storage, while the proceeds are not initially tracked as being active because they are in a sub account like the deeds/shares sub accounts.
I was going to suggest MA implement some âdummy ttâ stuff so that we can in effect create our own sub-accounts, which can in theory also be done with stuff I never actually use, such as a crazy ammo type (for some thatâs also explosives maybe). That can be done without reprogramming the page I hope, as itâs just âitems set asideâ. To be clearer, create stuff like pedtracker1,2,3 that can be bought and sold from tt, but not made into cubes ofc.
Intentionally trying to bypass area restrictions to gain an advantage or harass other players is considered a form of exploiting and may result in account suspension.
