Entropia on CD ?

Hi Guys

Would anyone let me know where i can get Project Entropia on CD please ? i am in South Africa and have been trying to download the game for 3 days now and unfortunatly the connection seems to reset itself every couple of hours. I am on a Capped line here and eveytime it retries the download it drives up my Limit. Please could anyone help me out ??

hmmm there was a CD available through a PC gamer issue about half a year ago i think, you may still be able to find that issue in some backstocking website or on ebay. You may also try finding someone with a nicer connection to download it for you and put it on a disk. But if you have problems with the PE download you may also have trouble with downloading the version updates :frowning: i hope it all works out for ya gl!

PE does like a nice internet connection, and while it’s possible to get the install to you in some other way, its not really recommended. Is it possible to speak to your ISP and see what the problem is?

I will try both routes, the ISP and on Ebay and see what i can find. I am running on 512k ADSL here in S.A the Download starts fine and runs at like 30kb/sec which is about normal but then after and hour or so starts to drop, eventually to about 2kb/sec.

i really hope i can get it sorted this game looks fantastic !

In that case you’ll probably have big problems playing even if you manage to get the install file from somewhere else. You should talk to your ISP and see what’s causing the problem

just have someone burn the current copy you can download from the website to a cd and mail it to you, send them some money via paypal…

u tried to use some sort of download software? they make it doable to start downloading again where it failed/disconnected
