Content creation within gaming communities is an integral part of the community engagement and ability for games to reach a new audience - therefore Mindark wants to ensure our own content ecosystem is properly supported.
Through a new close working collaboration with creators, in addition to a number of initiatives designed to drive video reach, channel growth, and general support for creators, we hope to shine more spotlight on Entropia Universe through the medium of online content.
There is never a better time to tune into some Entropia streams on Twitch, or videos on YouTube, both to get immersed in the game but also to support our great creators.
let me rephrase what i said, you get new players in, they have a problem like no loot found (system stole money), then they interact with support and NEVER come back again, because it’s the worst customer support i have encountered in my entire life. The officials welcoming new players share wisdom (this is not a joke) such as: To get unstuck from the rock, press “M” repeatedly, jump and move. Is that all that can be offered to new players from guides ?
How do you explain how loot works to new players, when people who play 20 years don’t understand it ?
I really dislike Entropia Twitch directory and mainly because its a small game and twitch wont moderate it at all. If this game had more viewers we had some action taken against all those who broadcast other games under Entropia directory.
Would be lovely if the affiliate system was working better.
Is it not shooting yourself in the foot by not fixing the existing issues before you open it up to more people?
For the UE5 release, I would recommend MA to do what most new games are doing:
Find large/medium-sized streamers on Twitch and sign contracts for them to stream the game. Put some budget aside for this.
This is where you find people with reach/exposure. If you get someone with 20K viewers, or a few smaller streamers with 5K viewers each etc, its gonna do PR for the game on another level.
