Perhaps we could have 2, one event in Europe and one in US?
We could setup a laptop and webcam at both events and make it feel like all are one big group :laugh:

I think that that a US party would be good. Of course all of us are spread just as far as the people in europe. Maybe we could meet in a cool city somewhere. As flights are fairly cheap. Maybe DC or Chicago or something. I would be willing to spend some ped. It would be a nice weekend of fun.

Well, ya, if it’s in Europe I cannot attend. Even for an American get together it’s rather difficult, as our country is a mere 3000 miles across
But, to put our two cents in… DD and I live in Seattle. I know three other ppl from our vicinity in game (one of which is Gruye) and a few ppl from Portland (about 4 hrs south). And at least one Alaskan I know that gets down here often. If there are any other ppl that will be in the Pacific Northwest in the next few months, pls let me know and we will see if the regional Northwesterners could get together.
Something in the US, I feel, should be central. The west coast surely doesn’t want to fly to the east coast, and the east coast doesn’t want to fly to the west.

Great idea Suicide. I see this thread may become long and with lots of different suggestion of places and dates. Would you mind starting another thread for a US event? Dont get me wrong, it’s just to tidy the thread up a bit.
Once we got things a little clearer I’ll start a new “official” thread, until then keep posting what you think will be the best place to be. I must ask you to be realistic and only post large central cities. Should be a major airport hub, so Copenhagen and Amsterdam is perhaps the two foremost contenders.
I still vote for Copenhagen. Gothenborg is not to far of, scandinavians can reach it by train, boat and even cars. Germany, the netherlands is very close. And as some of our friends from UK pointed out. An airplane ticket wont cost to much with a low fare airline.
