I’m quite sure that the treasure island deed, which was sold for 265 000 PED is an item just like all the other estate deeds. But even if it’s not, the client loader says “beyond anything else” not “any other item”.
unless it’s like 6 dmg/pec or can kill an uber in plated eon in one shot, and then another a second later, I don’t think anyone will consider paying that much for one though. And unless it’s a complete noob or someone very desperate for quick irl cash looting it I don’t think it’d get sold at all if it’s as good as it sounds

I was thinking something like that too… I’d see something like that as a follow-up :
“It’s been discovered that Roman Ram was the murderer. Letting his violent temperament roams free after learning that his little last “toy” has been stolen, he’s pursued Wackt to finally take him down on Calypso. The Federal Crime specialist are actually investigating on the whereabouts of Roman Ram. Stay tuned for more information.”
And after sometimes, something like :
“Breaking news. Roman Ram discovered dead on Calypso! After some investigations, the Federal Crime Specialist succeed to follow the traces of Roman Ram only to discover his corpse half rotten in the swamps near Fort Troy. Evidences of Robots activities around the scene has been seen but the now famous item designed by Roman Ram has yet to be recovered.”
I thinks it could be an interesting open story :yup:

I have thought about this. MA said revival chips was ingame 6months ago but they started dropping now so why the craze about a “unique” item to drop now? Might aswell be in VU.10 or something :rolleyes:

wouldn’t the drop rate be proportional to the amount of mobs killed?
in other words, if the unique item is “in” a spider, and the spider has a hypothetical 1/100,000 chance of dropping the unique item…the more spiders that are killed the quicker the item is dropped. <—all theory.

B/c of the high profile for the item, I would imagine that if any1 did TT the thing, MA would find out immediately, recover it, and put it back into loot

Actually, I doubt MA would do that, seeing as how it would likely happen again, losing quite a bit of money for MA in the long run.
The TT won’t be too high because of this in my opinion, or else everybody would just keep dumping it in the TT. And if they did, I’m sure MA would be very hesitant on putting it back in loots without modifying the TT in some way or another.

Why is it 'likely" to happen again? It would be very odd imo if such an item was tt’d, and I suspect that this item will be well-marked or titled so that any1 with a brain who loots it would not tt it.
If it were to be tt’d, however, I would speculate that MA would just get it out of tt and redistribute it… this costs them nothing :silly2:
In any event, as I stated b4 I am quite curious to see if any1 ever loots this item… it might take yrs for it to be found (if we are to assume it even exists) :laugh:
