Wow i’m amazed at the speed the download is going on at. Just wanted to try entropia out but the i’m downloading the game at 3kbps lol. gonna take another 88 hrs… not funny. I’m using a 1.5M connection. Anyways to speed this up guys? Thhanks

I downloaded PE again the other night to reinstall and i only have a 1 MB connection and it only took 7:52 hours

Just let it download for some time and I bet it speeds up,maybe alot of people downloading at the moment. Last time I downloaded the client I had 500kb/sec all the way

Yep same here. Im in the USA. it was flying. I figured it wouldnt work worth a crap. But the servers are generally VERY fast!

Is there anything i should be doing to my network? This is insane it would take about 2 day for it to be done.
im in the UK on a 1mb connection and it takes me 1 n a half hrs to install
yea thats seems kind of odd. They are mabey using one of the FTP servers for testing the upcomming VU. I would give it a couple stop and retrys too. you also may want to run adaware and spybot (search at download.com) to make sure you dont have some spyware software slowing your internet down or a virus if you dont have antivirus get free one at www.grisoft.com

same here very quick download, i think it could be the mirror you are ud=sing (are there other mirrors ?) if not jus the server.
This is kinda strange , last time I downloaded the game it started very slow & I cancelled the download and tryed again. This time I had the game downloased + installed in 20min.
The next day a friend of mine had the xact same prob. no matter how many times he re-started the download it stayed veeery slow. We live very close to eachother and really close to MA too! :yup: So if u figure the reason I would b thankfull if u let me know
i tryed downloading it onto my flatmates PC last night and it was so slow it would have taken 291 hours to download. :eek: Tryed many times and it stayed the same
that sounds really wierd.. i only have 0.5 mbts but i download alot faster, probably just because of the update coming up atm

why not produce a download that you could put on a cd etc???
