Double dipping mission rewards on ROCKtropia

since the UI update codex rewards are claimable from any planet

so far i found repeatable missions for the following mobs that are shared with caly, allowing to double dip on mission rewards from both RT missions AND caly’s codex on the same mob and not having to return to caly to get the rewards :slight_smile:

daikiba (muscle park)
rippersnapper (muscle park)
atrox (muscle park)
hiryuu (muscle park)
sumima (muscle park)
foul (evil cathedral)
phasm (evil cathedral)

if anyone know of any other, please let me know :wink:

If it collects as before , it will only give you the reward 1 time on each mission leg.
All that has changed is now you can collect the rewards on ROCKTROPIA , whereas before you had to fly back to Caly to collect.

yes, but the last stage for some is repeatable, so you can get the reward as many times as your ped card allows you to

and not having to fly back and forth or warp back and forth is a godsent :smiley:

Is it though? I seems to recall that I was done with repeatable daikiba and was unable to get the mission again.

i cannot confirm i am not at the last stage for that one yet :frowning: but i know some players have stated the atrox one was?

might need confirmation, i edited a past post :slight_smile:

Have not finished that many but noticed that “A deal with the Horny Devil” in Hell and “Catscepades #5” are
repeateable, while Daikiba and Atrox aren’t. My guess is mobs that belong to RT are repeatable but those who
are universal aren’t.

EDIT 2025-08-23: Some universal mobs are indeed repeatable.

Are there any robot based double-dipping options out there?! I love the Trooper / Warrior / Drone robots on Caly!

Since i am not sure how this double tip works i’l ask here. Do you need to open Codex entry on Calypso before heading to RT? Or do you get Calypso codex entry opened while killing similar mobs at RT? ?

just kill… earn mission reweard AND codex

on caly there are 3 residual missions
rextellum - leviathan - traeskeron with mission and codex reward

Know there are irons for rextellum and leviathan, but haven’t found any for traeskeron Marco

Understood that much.

But if i am at RT and kill mob that is same as in Calypso, does that unlock Codex in Calypso? Or do i need to be in Calypso and kill say bare min 1 mob to open codex entry before heading to do the mission on RT?

I think what he’s saying is if he doesn’t have daikiba in his codex, and he goes to RT and kills a daikiba, will it open the codex for daikiba or does he first have to kill it on Caly.
The only codex mob I hunted at RT was daikiba, but I know I had already unlocked them from the juvenille missions outside icarus. I’d guess you could kill a caly codexed mob on RT and it would reveal the codex for that mob with like 82% surety.
It’s wildly easy to solve though. If you’re on RT, kill 1 of those mobs listed above and see if it gets added to codex, if you’re still on caly and want to be 100% sure just kill the mob on caly before you go to RT.

From memory these are the double dipping mobs on RT. Atrox, sumina, phasm, foul, hyruu, daikiba, and a fish i can’t recall which one. You’ll have to have a mission for them on RT to get the rewards and codex.

Only one I’m 100% sure is repeatable is Sumima, since thats the only one I have finished at stage 6 and have it opened again.
Rippersnappers stopped earlier for me, can’t do stage5, Hiryuu did also stop before last stage.
I’m on stage 6 with Atrox so have to update later there.
Daikiba seems to be stopped after last stage.

As per Traeskeron “IRON” mission, beginning and also chain phases are in the SW part of the island where traeskeron wave is
there is a base camp with a questgiver
you can complete it at the wave
